there aren't many human teams with spots open right now. Only so many teams got created for season 1, and it was based on ownership requests, which didn't match the demand by player agents for teams to place players on. You'll have a lot more luck building a fresh player for rookie teams next season, or waiting until the offseason when teams undergo more turnover.
