As a DE what is the main focus to improve 40 and speed, so much speed abilities do not know which to focus.

Sprinting, Quickness, Conditioning.

Edit - those are the only skills that affect 40 time. Ability to get to the ball carrier (speed, mobility, pathfinding etc...) is also affected by footwork and pursuit.
