I have players on cpu teams, that I am just messing around with, signed them on a CPU owned team, and keep getting contracts from the same three to four teams every day since I created them. These players are not in the marketplace, the builds suck, and I will probably retire them, just getting real annoying logging in to see half my homepage seeing that said players have contracts waiting from them, and having to go click reject on each contract.
Maybe something that prevents contracts from being sent if you're on a team (cpu) and your player is not in the marketplace.
