Did you know that the Hired Guns have made it to 3 Western Conference Finals in a row with one of those trips leading to an appearance in the Championship? HG has quietly become one of the most dependable teams in the playoffs over the last few years. I have personally been outed two years in a row by HG on their way through the West. HG has been on a roll lately, but they are facing a great Gerr team.
Gerr claimed the only undefeated regular season in S38, but that doesn't mean one bit in the playoffs. The Royal game was a real challenge (perhaps I underestimated them), but maybe it was good for Gerr as it was a reminder that the playoffs favors no one. Gerr hasn't been incredibly proficient in the passing game, but so far he hasn't had to be proficient with his great running game. We will see if his top ranked defense can do the job against HG...
The East is a match-up of the clear cut best agents/owners in the East. WE has taken PWG by storm with his solid builds and excellent coordination, but repeating in S38 will be a great challenge with FGC, Bears and HG on the ready. WE is still the defending champs and should be favored to win it all.
FGC has been all but untouchable in the regular season except the match-up against WE. Jkid asserted himself and avoided another upset by RR with an impressive victory to carry FGC to the Conference Finals. FGC's defense has been elite to this point in the season allowing more than 7 points in only TWO GAMES! On average this FGC team allows 5 points per game, but will that stand true against WE's offense?
My Predictions:
HG does enough to return to the chips. HG over the Bears 24-21.
