I guess if that new rule is in effect then 16 teams will promote to Gold next season...Here are the S39 new Gold teams.

Not sure how well this new 16 team promotion is going to work out. Some of the 9-11 teams in each division of Gold would beat some of these teams pretty easily..

Seems like it always the same story with promoted teams. 2 of them will actually be pretty solid and the rest will stink.

Also depends on who actually decides to field a team

Actually Owners and teams look pretty good this season.

Lots of former Gold Owners/Agents and some good new blood.

I think you guys may be surprised at this group.

I wish they'd cut the number of Silver Leagues even more. As it is we had one challenging game all season (and only because they were fully boosted) and the rest weren't even worth watching. Would have liked to have had games against some of the playoff teams in the other leagues.

Next season will consist us getting trounced by yes/yes teams, a few close games against the other non-boost promoted teams and a few pointless games against teams that bail when they find out they've been promoted.

It's kind of awful playing CPU teams all season and then having like 2 real games to prepare for in the CC and the Finals (hopefully we see you there )

Next season in gold could be super tough. I mean this season's west was one of the toughest conferences I have ever seen in gold. If a bunch of good new teams are added, both conferences could be 9-10 competitive teams deep.

So glad someone else realized this as well. LE and I had both said in discussions that the West was by far the toughest conference this year. West was tougher this year than any year since I started playing in PWG.

yeah, I could see this happening ...I think some of the higher leagues are starting to wake up to the potential here now that teams have proven to be competitive in the playoffs without spending a fortune on boosting
