Apparently the D-league teams will not send contracts to players in low demand, even if their roosters are CPU filled.

I suggest that D-league teams actually send contracts to all players that cannot find a team, even ones in Low Demand.
If they wont send offers, why have D-leagues at all?

If the first suggestion here is not thought of as a good one, then I purpose to give a full refund to players that were created, and boosted, to get on D-league teams.

Bort - I'm sure the programming and server space and stuff is all more complicated than I can imagine (I'm dumb)

But it seems you're making a bad business decision here. There are TONS of players in the marketplace who can't get a team. Some of these are people trying out GLB2 from Classic -- some are brand new to the game and are going to have an awful experience (no games + no team + no camaraderie is bad).

Beyond that - you are graciously offering referral bonuses - but I can't imagine telling someone to come play when I know they won't be able to get on a team! It is a tough sell to say "come on, this football game is great - you build a right guard and I'll get him on a team - it will be really fun!).

You only get one chance to make a first impression.

Have to think which is a worst first impression, not being able to find a home for a QB/HB, or being able to be third string and touch the ball 4 times a game, while having a DE/DT blocking for you since the team way oversigned on QB/HBs and nobody is making OL.

That, and unless someone signs up and immediately buys flex, they can't make a QB/HB to begin with since they are low demand, so it isn't going to affect their first impression.

But if there are cpu teams with cpu HBs and QBs, how is it that somebody who paid money for a low demand position can't get work on those teams?

If somebody wants to pay for a dot that lives in D-league irrelevance until plateau, how does it hurt WG or it's users to put them on a cpu team?

Good points - but CPU leagues shouldn't have too much cost associated with them. Why limit them?

Find a way to let new people play the player they want (even if it is a QB) - that is the best way to get them interested in the game (and turned into paying, loyal customers).

I agree with you though - neither is a good impression (no team vs 4 snaps)

One reason is because it dillutes the player pool. Too many cpu teams and making it too easy to get on them means people are less likely to look for human teams or make a position that is actually needed. Thousands of leagues full of nothing but pure cpu teams with just a couple human qbs and hbs sounds awful.

Being more coveted does make OL or other less interesting positions slightly more appealing than a straight comparison would dictate.
