I think either Easy Going can be changed so that instead of increasing chem recovery rate by 10% it reduces min salary by 10%.

Or

A new trait is made that only reduces Min Salary by 15% or 20%. Can be called something like team player.

Basically you are exchanging a potentially beneficial trait just to get cheaper contracts.

This is dumb,

they put the salary % to defer people from stacking OP traits without paying for it dearly.

Only? even the most OP traits don't increase salary by 15%...

I wasn't even thinking about counteracting the OP traits. I can see that causing a problem, 10% would be fine then. However it still uses 1 of 3 traits that instead of improving your player just makes them cheaper. If I'm going to take those OP'd traits I'm going to go all out and try to make the best player I can.

This is a good idea and would make Easy Going makes more sense for a player long term, as it is now, if you plan on staying with the same team the chem factor does nothing outside of his first season.

Also, either EG or a new salary reducing trait could be made to conflict with Egotist and Super Star to avoid piling on the more potent salary raisers.

Well I wouldn't burn a lot of salary cap on a player you build. But there are other agents I would trust to make a solid high salary player
