I thought stick was made when you get a tackle on the receiver almost immediately after the ball is caught

Seems that Stick is stopping a ball carrier without letting him fight extra yards.

Players do not age without playing games. You get 180 total league/ladder games (more if you use boosts), playable at any time. You can leave your team and let the player sit for any amount of time with no XP loss or loss of total play time. So if you need to go away for a month, no worries.

Scrimmages, pickup games, tourney games and playoff games do not count toward game usage.
