1) Is there any reason for a team with a full roster to save money under the cap?

2) Do salary requirements go up from season to season? IE Will my current roster cost me more in season 2? And if so, does salary cap go up from season to season?

3) Is there anyway to make multi-season contracts?

4) Did Bort implement the "letter of intent" idea in some fashion, any way to commit agents to a team before they can sign?

5) If the answer to multi season and letter of intent are both No, then how do you keep your team together next season?

6) Which positions need high salaries for sure, which definitely do not, and which ones should, could, might benefit?

I'll piggy back here. Where do I find out what contract length my player has?

1) No reason to leave space under the cap.
2) Salaries go up as players age but salary cap goes up as well.
3) No. All contracts are one season.
4) No.
5) Contracts expire on Day 43 so owners have 3 days to extend for the next season. Players can sign with other teams during this time, iirc.
6) Still undetermined. Common sense says ball handlers would benefit.

1) No, money isn't accumulated.

2) I'd assume so to both.

3) No

4) Not that I have seen

5) Renegotiate them later on in the season

6) Some have arguments for/against glamor positions. The argue for is that they get the ball more, the argue against is that by paying them more you lose out on two or three non-glamor positions being able to have high paid salaries.

Donke- I'm pretty sure they are 1 season contracts that end on day 43. I assume there will be a period to re-sign them from day 40-43.

All contracts are one season.

Is this stated anywhere?

Am I to assume that all contracts will expire on the same date no matter when the contract was signed? Even if it was signed the day before that date?

You only have a three day window to send extensions and have them accepted?

Bort - wtf????

Players will drop off the team unintentionally, that is dumb. It happens NOW in GLB1, its gonna be the norm in GLB2 if that is the set up.

Put in longer contracts, I can not see why you removed that from the new format.

I don't remember if it says that on an initial offer but if you renegotiate you'll see it. Also, if you view the offer (the long form) you'll see that it says one season.

We never ran through the playoffs on the test server so its possible that you can start renegotiating earlier. We'll just have to see.
