Having a hard time wrapping my tiny brain around this.
It looks like the D tactics page allows you to call plays based on down/distance (distance defined up top of page).
However, it looks like the defensive playbook doesn't allow for the same function. It more or less allows you to call more than 2 plays per set based on amount of WR's.
Here is my question: How do the two relate?
Is the relationship between the two based on pre-loaded playbooks (Bal, zone, man, etc)vs. the tactics? If so, how does custom built playbooks affect the tactics page?
I did notice that each defensive play in your playbook has a short/med/long designation to it, so let's say i put 5 plays in the playbook vs. 2WR sets. Is the likelihood of one of those 5 plays being called directly influenced by the tactics set up? Meaning, do I need to have a short, a med and a long play for each WR set in the playbook? OR, are those plays simply called based on the 5 bar frequency tab (on each individual play), and the D tactics page is therefore ignored on a custom playbook?
I hope that makes sense.
