I must say that I am pleasantly surprised with GLB2. Looks fun. Also, likes the graphics to be honest.

The one thing I feel it lacks though is a better tactical element. Yes, I know it is meant to be easier and simpler, but I still think there should be room to set progressions in plays and have more flexibility on defense.

Honestly, I was getting tired of my complicated AI in GLB Classic.

For sure, no need to bring back the AI which was a huge obstacle for new users.

Not sure how I feel about simplified tactics but, I've noticed the games I've seen have been very close and that's a good thing.
I don't like the layout a whole lot; but I suppose I'll get used to it

Think the offensive playcalling needs tweeking just a bit. I don't like that there is only 1 formation that I can specify my Scrambling QB to be in.

My main cosmetic change would be a different font used in the forums. My main change in mechanics would be more defensive formations or a basic/limited defensive play editor.

I think the tactical GLB1 element will be added at some point. I think the whole reason for GLB2 is that they knew they fucked up the build player process real bad overtime and needed to rehaul it. This was there way of doing that and it seems like this is a big test for the new player building aspect. Once they have that figured out we will go back to advanced AI's and this will be the game GLB1 should have been

I like that there are more options when building your toon. The site seems a little hard to navigate but that could be just because it is new. Took me a while to figure out my build was closed and how to open it.

Seems that Bort learned alot from GLB Classic and has made some good changes.

Some rules and guidelines from the creators of the game would be nice.

I love the simplicity of it. Remember Tecmo Bowl? I think you had 6 plays to choose from and that game was AWESOME right? Running AI's for a legit GLB team is like a 2nd job, but instead you lose money. If GLB2 ever gets that complicated then I myself will not be here long.

I doubt they will go to in depth with the AI here, but I can see them adding a little bit more.

We still intend to add a live play calling mode sometime.

My biggest complaint tbh is the new forum layout/font/colors etc.

I just don't like it. GLB2 caught me off guard (maybe cause I self-inflicted lower expectations by just constantly thinking it would suck) which has helped me to be excited for this game actually.

But I just can't stand the new forum appearances. I also keep scrolling all the way to the bottom for the team forums, so it would have been nice if they kept things in the same location.

agreed. i'll stick with GLB1 for forum use until they shut it down…maybe by then they'll fix the fisher-price look and feel of the forums here.
