This ranking is loosely based on fact and largely based on opinion. Thanks for reading. Please post and comment!
1. Whodey's Experiment (2) - The victory this week over FGC couldn't have went better for WE. WE gained 416 yards while holding FGC to only 226 yards. WE has shown itself strong in every game including the loss to Birdman. I still look at this team as a top dog, despite maybe a few chinks in the armor this year.
2. Fighting Gamecocks (1) - It was a short fall for the 10-1 squad. Despite the loss, I still believe this is an elite squad. Jkid will have to be creative if he faces WE in the playoffs, but I still think this squad is a title contender.
3. Brethern Krewe Redbeards (3) - The game against GTS was close and slow moving, but it ended in a victory. Week 12 brings the top teams in the West together for a showdown between the Redbeards and the Bears in the game of the week. This could easily be seen as the game of the year in the West to this point.
4. Chicago 85' Bears (4) - The Bears have played great dot ball all season up to this point, but that doesn't matter this week. This week 12 match-up could very well be the game that decides the top seed in the West, particularly for the Bears as the rest of their schedule is not too challenging. Week 12 Bears vs Redbeards is a must watch.
5. TazVikes Nordica (5) - Word to the wise, Subversive just put a 10-0 game together against WE a few weeks ago. Don't underrate them or this 10-1 team could end up 10-2 going into the big game against FGC in week 13.
6. Ultimate Underdogz (6) - I think the West is absolutely stacked this year with teams like the Bears, Redbeards, Hired Guns and SBWL as well as Royal and GTS, but despite that you can rest assured that this Underdogz squad belongs well within that group of great West teams. The top of the East may be better than the top of the West this year, but the whole of the West takes the cake.
7. Hired Guns (9) - Welcome to the boosting world finally. HG is always a tough playoff team since they reorganized their structure a few seasons back. I expect this team to run the table outside of a potentially dangerous match-up against SBWL in week 15.
8. All Pro Falcons (10) - The Birds of Prey apparently were not prepared for the backstabbing Falcons to turn on them. You'd think that game would end with a pat on the back and a draw, but the Falcons just did everything better today and absolutely demolished their opponent.
9. Short Bus Window Lickers (8) - SBWL has 3 losses on the season, but the tough games are not over yet. LE still must face Royal and HG to finish out the regular season. Those games could play big into playoff seeding, although I can't see this team getting worse than the 6th seed.
10. Birds Of Prey (7) - The Birds are barely hanging in this ranking after two absolutely brutal losses in the last 3 weeks. Is it the levels that is causing the problem? At this point in the season, nonboost/minor boost teams do take a step back for a few weeks. Maybe the Birds will recover and come back with a storm later.
