I do it when I get throwing to the cap that I want it or when it becomes inefficient to train vision or strength (e.g. vision on your guy right now... not a good idea to train when it is 38.)

Also, since you picked a pocket passer, you need to hit your majors first so your order is throwing, vision then confidence. Strength should come after those.

You dont even need to think about SP to other attributes for the first season. Many go intense/normal training throwing to 68-73 then they start multitraining and keep on adding SP into throwing to get it about 86-90 by the end of the first season

Even though Confidence is a Primary for your PP, I don't think its as important as strength. Strength adds velocity to your passes, which can really help with the quick reads and the ball getting to your receiver faster (as long as they have the catching ability to handle it).

Kind of like with an Offensive Guard. His primaries are Strength Blocking Confidence and Vision. But we all know that you don't cap confidence before Agility. For that matter, most will take Vision to the desired cap before Speed but will take Speed higher than Vision. Every position has that point where your primaries aren't as important as getting up a secondary that matters more in the mechanics of this sim.

My QB reached the 9:1 cap his first season, and I trained Throwing until i had enough bonus tokens to enhance it 3 times ( as soon as I had enough to enhance it I did so. 6 Bonus tokens were available right away I enhanced it, as soon as I had 12 more I enhanced it again, Same for the third time). Once the three enhancements were done, I opened vision for 2way training, then enhanced it 2 times, then opened Strength, trained until I could enhance vision a third time, then worked on enhancing Strength 3 times, then opened agility for 4way multi-training.
By this time I had reached the 4:1 cap on throwing and had it in the 92-98% trained range. I dropped passing out and added Confidence in the open slot, continued training on 4way multi and enhanced it three times as well. I started using Bonus Tokens to help reach my cap goals on throwing.

So its more than my 2 cents but I'm pretty sure if you hit strength before confidence you'll come out better, so start training strength as soon as you can get 3 enhancements on your Throwing and Vision Training, then get 3 enhancements on that. Throwing should be at least to the 9:1 cap (87.60) before you move on to Vision. Cap vision around 85, move on to strength to the 7:1 cap at around 81, then try to do the same with confidence.
Don't forget that Agility helps with mechanics and speed helps him drop back faster giving him a little extra time on his progressions.

Roughly the numbers to get to before you move to the next.
Throwing (87)
Vision (85)
Strength (81)
Confidence (81)
Agility (61)
Stamina (61)
Speed (48)

Take it, leave it, bash it but there's my take on any QB for this game.

So I think that these are pretty good numbers for a first year QB through 13 games. Are they, and if not what is?

games 13 QB rating 120.3 completions 246 attempts 373 percentage 66 yards 2,781.5 yards per game 214 yards per attempt 7.5 touchdowns 36 bad throws 6
