if you go for 160 strength on your punter and use punting as your second highest skill is there a high chance of them starting on the 20 yard line?

Punting has a large impact on punt distance.
Most likely larger than strength, so no, not really.

Yup. Strength for Punters, kickers, and QB's isn't the main effective skill when determining quality and distance. It ADD's to the primary skill and enhances distance... but, by itself, it doesn't help as much as pushing the main skill as high as you can go (effectively).

the quality it doesn't make sense for strength too affect that at all however what were you thinking bort?
why can a wimp who has better technique get the ball further then the weight lifter with a little bit of technique

That is not the issue, glb is not real life anyway, and for high school, you may be correct. Even in "real life", someone with punt skill of 160 and strength of 90 will do better than someone with punt skill of 90 and strength of 160 because punting is more than just pure strength.
Of course, I don't know anything.
