Making my first scat FB so running him through the VPB. Looking for advice on this build. I'm not sure about the best SA setup and/or if my atts are even in the right areas for this kind of build.

Just guessing here but speed would be 158.1 combined? Or not?

yes, and then possibly a bit more if I decide to get the Track Star VA.

The the only thing I would change is the ratio between catching and carrying. What you have is awesome for a WR... but WR's don't get the ball handed of to them occasionally and have to deal with DE's and DT's rippin and strippin at them in close confines. Since it's a Back build (HB or FB), I would prefer to see carrying higher and catching lower. Not saying switch them out entirely... which you could and it wouldn't be bad... but just that more carrying at the expense of some of your catching would be my preference. Unless your HB is going to be catching a lot of mid range and deep throws, he probably doesn't need as much catching as a WR or even a TE needs.

Nice build, Id probably swap quick cut ae for fake% , but imo carrying/catching is fine. A good OC will know how to use him , if you want a fb to rush go get 1 of those, but youve stuck to a pure receiver which is good. You want to be able to win those 1v1 matchups catch rolls, http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4265486&playoffs=0 heres my dude, as you can see he even had over 200 receptions 1 season. Kinda a down year last season but yours is a little bit better in the strength/carry department , should def help with the KL , which is the only thing i hate about mine.

I agree carrying/catches are fine. I also agree you want at least 15% fake%. I wouldn't be afraid to drop agility a bit. Route run and scat back deserve a look as secondary extra SA's as well.

For reference http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4298603&playoffs=0 is probably the most unstoppable recFB in GLB.

Thanks for the input guys!
I will be running through another VPB taking into consideration your input and bring the results back!

Wise? You thinking he'll not carry the ball much (cuz FB's generally don't in this game) that it's not needed as much? Or that he shouldn't have to worry about KL's and fumbles? I was thinking that, for the mostly short receiving routes he'll be making (with a few mediums now and then), that catching isn't nearly needed as much? I got that wrong?

With the 76 car he shouldn't have to worry about KLs and fumbles. His catching is fine too.

FBs don't get the KL protection from VAs like WRs so definitely an issue to be a little wary of, esp. with low confidence.

KL/Fumbles shouldn't even be in his thought process.

You don't need more than 75 carrying in KL prevention. Ideally you get enough separation to not get hit immediately preventing KLs. Catching the higher the better as it helps you catch the ball clean (while running) and also the higher the catching the further downfield you can go. There's enough stuff intermediate off of cuts with FB routes that you would be fine with 80 catching just working off that cut separation, but it can be nice to still win 1v1 battles when you have a defender on you (double coverage zone was prevalent in the playoffs vs my team, but the FB still won in part due to his catching ability).

Why would I want to double stack fake % when I only really have Juke?
