Good job HG for finding it and using it to beat me. Nothing wrong with that, I would have done that myself. Just sucks to lose that way...

Here is a some up watching all the games

SBWL wins with defense 12-7. Short Bus kicked 4 field goals and held GTS to 157 yards of offense. GTS scored first early in the game as SBWL went for it on 4th and 1.5 on their own 17 to turn the ball over on downs. Next play GTS throws a strike to TE to go up 7-0. Short Bus responds with a long drive to GTS 9 yard line where they kick a FG cutting the lead 7-3. The Bus holds GTS on their next 3 possessions where they score a 35 yard fg to cut the lead 7-6. Bus holds for 2 more possessions where they score a 31 yard fg to take the lead 9-7. GTS gets the ball back and could only gain 6 yards where they turn the ball over on downs at the 48 yard line. Short Bus takes the ball and drives to GTS 7 yard line where they kick a 24 yard fg to make it 12-7. GTS goes another 4 and out as Short Bus drives to GTS 2 yard line when time runs out. Short Bus will need a better offensive performance against Hired Guns or defense may collapse.

Oh Chicago, this one may sting for a while. Playing great ball with only one loss on the season and they forget to cover the BTE. That mistake led to 2 Tds and helped drive for the 3rd TD. Chicago used a ferocious running game which drove to the Guns 17 yard line facing a 4th and 15 so Chicago kicks a 34 yard fg to go up 3-0. The collapse begins as Hired Guns trailing 3-0 late in the first throws to a wide open BTE to go 43 yards and take the lead 7-3. By this time Chicago is praying they don't run this play again. Chicago using their strength runs the ball down the field from the opponents 47 to score a TD and take the lead 10-7. Both teams swap possessions then Hired Guns takes the ball on Chicago's 40 and drives to the Bears 7 yard line facing a 4th and 5 and kick a 24 yard fg to tie the game at the half 10-10. Starting in the 3rd Quarter both teams get two possessions when neither team does anything with it. Hired Guns get their 3rd possession midway through the 3rd when they hit that busted defense again going 60 yards and a TD to take the lead 17-10. Early 4th Chicago catches the Guns defense napping on a pitch to set up a game tying TD to make it 17-17. The Guns pick up a 4th and 6 with time running out late 4th. Chicago's Big I defense was horrible which allowed an 8 yard rushing gain and then another pass to an uncovered BTE to Chicago's 2 yard line when they pound it in on the next play to go up 24-17. Chicago had 2 more possessions but they failed to pick up a first down and the game closed with Hired Guns threatening again. Hired Guns since boosting late season has look solid. This is a team that could very easily take the entire enchilada.

The Luckiest team since Awsalicks and Gerrs non boosted team. Requiem Revolver shocks the pee wee world beating FGC and now All Pro. Both teams fully boosted could not get by RR. Was it due to lack of respect and not boosting or was it to the fact that Bretherine was knocked out so early they are really focusing on each side of the ball. Either way you have to say great job. Both teams came out running which was a surprise to me seeing how well All Pro was running the 4 spread against teams mid season. All Pro was threatening early with getting to RRs 24 yard line facing a 4th and 2.5 they throw from trips turning the ball over on downs. All Pro was threatening again getting even close facing a 4th and 9 from RR 22 yard line. They get the play they wanted in 4 spread but RR CB held his own and they turned the ball over again on downs. All Pros Kicker was screaming from the sidelines, put me in coach! Requiem puts a nice drive together to All Pro 33 but that just ate up time as the drive stalled but it did change field position. All Pro goes 3 and out and this time RR starts on the opponents 46. A couple of nice completions in somewhat double coverage allows the game winning TD to HB with one on one coverage from 8 yards out to go up 7-0. All Pro answers with a 30 yard field goal on the next possession driving from their own 40 to the 13 yard line of RR. Facing a 4th and 10 they kick the 30 yard fg to cut it 7-3. Requiem spend the 3rd quarter on offense in All Pros territory but could not get close enough to score. RR got to All Pros 26 yard line on 4th and 6th and could not pick up a first down in the early 4th. All Pros first possession in the 4th drove the ball from their own 26 to RRs 35 yard line using their notorious air attack. RR goes 4 and out after picking up a sack. All Pro starts on RR 46 yard line and drove to their 8 yard line facing a 4th and 8 with 6 plus minutes left they kick a fg. The 25 yard fg made it 7-6 which would end up being the final score. Requiem played field possession yet again getting down to All Pros 27 yard line eating up time. All Pro had nothing left to offer. RR will need lady luck as this Cinderella team now faces one of the best teams Gold had put together in a while. Can RR knock off another boosted team? Time will tell.

Meanwhile this game between Tazvikes and Whodey really had me scratching my head. What I consider one of the best OCs in the game (Taz) really played right into the strength of Whodey. They ran 34 plays in 5 wide. Bro do you scout? Whodey has not changed his 5 wide defense which is solid. 3 teams who run a 5 wide blitz defense to perfection are Short Bus, Royal Cocks and Whodey. This is what probably led to the Vikes going 9 of 40 for 58 yards. Tazvikes defense started out great forcing WHodey to a 3 and out. Taz started out good picking up a first down until the 5 wides play turned into a sack. Taz end up turning the ball over on downs. Next possession, Whoday suffers 2 sacks and was facing a 3rd and 18 when they use a 5 wide set and burn CB1 for a 46 yard TD. Whodey ended the first quarter leading 7-0. Each team exchanged possessions with Whodey winning field position throughout the quarter. Whodey gets the ball at Taz 46 when they drive down to Taz 7 yard line facing a 4th and 5 and kicking a 24 yard field goal to go up 10-0 at the half. Again Whodey spent the better part of the 2nd quarter in Tazvikes territory. Early 3rd Whodey got to Taz 22 yard line when they failed to pick up a first down facing a 4th and 10. On Taz 2nd play they catch the defense offguard and score on a 74 yard counter to cut the lead 10-7. Whodey gets the ball back on the next possession at Taz 46 yard line and drive 46 yards for a score to go up 17-7. Late 3rd WHodey gets the ball again and drives from their own 43 to taz 14 yard line where they elect to kick a 31 yard fg to go up 20-7. Whodey gets the ball early 4th and drives 48 yards for another TD going up 27-7. Taz goes 4 and out and Whodey drives 56 yards for the final score of 34-7. Taz offense was stifled the entire 4th quarter. Whodey next faces off against the unboosted RR team. Whodey should win easily making it a trip to their first Pee Wee Gold Championship game to face either Short Bus or Hired Guns.
