It's that time of the season again. Season 37 has brought a lot of highs and lows for GLB but the World keeps on keepin on. Some familiar faces are back at it and there even some surprises as well. So what is the skinny on the teams? Lets take a look.
Starting with the Alpha Conference....
Game 1: #1 Republic of Benin vs. #8 Omaha BEEF
Their last meeting was quite a shootout. BEEF dropped a mini on them and pulled it out despite a slow second half performance. bhall enjoys the 8 seed and Ezra is a big game planner so anything could happen here. Odds are in favor of Benin though. Also Duro first time signal caller. Should be a good one.

Game 2: #4 South Side Mafia vs. #5 Richey Royals
They just played in week 16 but odds are the gameplans were weak on both ends. I believe this is a spider against spider matchup as well. South Side are the defending champs so they will not be taken lightly. I expect a better game to watch than their previous matchup.

Game 3: #2 Carthage Clash vs. #7 Honolulu Hurricane Wife Carriers
A prime time matchup with a lot of stars here. DS's love child against Jiddy's burritos. It's hcreek vs. ghuffman. It's madmustaff vs. ufshowboat. Will DS run HHWC off the track to title numero 5? Will Catch finally put Carthage back in pro like he said he would? Only time will tell...

Game 4: #3 Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies vs. #6 Orlando Prime Timers
You down with OPT? Recent showdown was a close matchup with OPT taking home the win. But a mini helmet was applied and now the Prime Timers are on the road facing a nacho. Expecting a lower scoring affair in comparison to the other games as OPT is a methodical power rushing team and they will keep this one close. Still I have to put my odds on the Duckies.

And over in Zeta.....
Game 1: #1 Dogs of War vs. #8 Padres Parrish
Who let the dogs out? All signs point to DoW in this one. Can the Padre ask for a miracle from the heavenly father? The Dogs are the odds on favorites to win the title per some reputable sources. So ill bet the house.

Game 2: #4 South Otto Fragile Porcelain Mice vs. #5 The Walking Dead
The Mice back for another go in the playoffs while last seasons Oceania/SEA Pro champs are making a first time appearance. The zombies feasted on the mice in game 1 but now they are taking their show on the road in South Otto. Should be a good one. Never feed mice to zombies. That is what I learned recently from TWD.

Game 3: #2 Grand Banks Bluenoses vs. #7 Steel City Mafia
A pair of crafty veteran DC's here in jd and 7. Their recent match was really close despite Grand Banks early domination. All signs I think still point to integrity in this one though. jd's defense is fiesty.

Game 4: #3 Chicago Hedgehogs vs. #6 Odessa Mojo
This matchup is for the children. All eyes will be on the Hogs as they stare into the face of greatness. It is a long road for Wise and gang but the first huge monkey is off their back. Time to take another step towards a higher goal. ghuffman and gang of course looking to take another step towards HHWC level of greatness. Despite their records, the odds on favorites go to the veterans.
