1. Fighting Gamecocks (1) - Talk about a defensive struggle. Both teams were held under 250 yards and couldn't find much success on the offensive side, however FGC was able to sustain a few more drives that Minnesota and came out the victor. Week 12 brings us the game of the year with FGC facing WE.

2. Whodey's Experiment (2) - WE is well deserving of their #2 ranking and has a chance to make that leap to the top this week. I have no doubt that either team is worthy of that top ranking, but your guess is as good as mine as to who will come out with the win.

3. TazVikes Nordica (3) - The TazVikes have their typical powerhouse offense and the defense has been good. They've beaten All Pro and took a close loss to FGC. This team is capable of beating anybody on any given day.

4. Chicago 85' Bears (4) - The Bears fought well against the Midgets and came out with a dominant victory. The victory was only by 3 TDs, however they held the Midgets to only 115 yards on the day. The Bears now face Royal in week 12 to further solidify their chances at the top seed.

5. All Pro Falcons (5) - The Falcons are looking like the #4 seed in the East. They could find some luck if others lose, but even if the Falcons were to beat the Gamecocks in week 15 then they might not move up a seed. Either way this is a great team that could cause some serious trouble for anybody in the playoffs.

6. Brethern Krewe Redbeards (7) - Another big win in week 11 against GTS. The Redbeards have now won against the Midgets, Royal and GTS in the last 3 weeks, however the road does not become straight and smooth. Week 12 brings in East-West and Week 13 brings SBWL. The Redbeards are still a rookie to PWG and have a lot to prove. Even though this is my team, I am hesitant to have them this high.

7. Gold Test Squad (6) - GTS didn't have their best day in week 11 against the Redbeards, but should win the rest of their games minus week 13 against the Bears. GTS should still get a high seed and will be a difficult playoff team.

8. Royal Cocks (8) - Royal still has 2 good opponents to face (Bears and Hired Guns), but could still end up with a very high seed in the West. Will Royal win out? Probably not. Could they cause problems in the playoffs? I don't see why not.

9 Minnesota Vikings (9) - The Vikingz showed some real brass in week 11 despite the loss. The Vikingz have now lost to 3 of the top 4 teams in the East, but still face TazVikes and RR to finish the year. I'm starting to expect the #5th seed is all but a lock for the Vikingz.

10. Short Bus Window Lickers (10) - SBWL will, at most, lose one more game this year however I still think they could win out. Despite the unusual chinks in the armor, I still think these Window Lickers could prove strong with a playoff run.

Reflections:

I think the top 3 is pointedly stronger than the rest of the league. The top 3 in my opinion are FGC, WE and the TazVikes. I think that after those 3, the rest of the top 10 are very good and capable of beating each other on any given day. I think this year brings some of the most exciting play between the top half of PWG. I think this year's playoff will bring some exciting games to the table.

It was interesting to me to see that Black Veil and E/W are ranked so closely. Two teams that should easily have a game or two more in their win column than they have, but are missing one or two vital things. For Black Veil, I'd say it's coaching on both sides of the ball. Against PPF, we had the ball for 16 minutes. Defensively, that's terrible. On the flip side, we had a 36% completion ratio on passes, and our run game was nonexistent apart from a few QB runs. We played an awful game all around and if PPF tried more, they could've easily ran right over us.

You nailed our main issue this season, which is lack of trying, to busy travelling to game plan much. Just happy we barely squeaked by you, now got to do the same in the RR game and hope to make the playoffs.
