Okay so I admit that the roaring tusk is a missing aspect of APL.. me personally I blame E 
Let's start with the fact that E probably isn't bringing back the Roaring Tusk because this conference isn't anywhere close to what APL once was.. but I'll take a little time to donate to the league that I've been a part of for a long time... so here we go (as always if you don't appreciate what I say about your team.. piss off it's just my opinion.. )
1: Johannesburg Jackals~ The Jackals are a group of young guns looking to make a point.. they've come up through the younger ranks with a bunch of teams that are apparently built for destiny. They get the top spot because of their youth and the fact that nobody has stayed closer then 30 points of them. Ironically enough the Roaring Tusk comes back just in time to see how they deal with a powerhouse like the Miami Red Hawks.. time to see how youth deals with experience.
2: Miami Red Hawks~ I know that the Red Hawks just demoted from WL and should probably have had the top spot considering what they've done to the competition.. but since they're not true APL vets I don't have a lot of love for them. I think they dropped into APL thinking they could bounce back.. we'll see soon enough if they made a bad judgement call since they have 4 of the other top 5 teams in the next 5 games...
3: The African Predators~ I really wanted to rate this perennial APL powerhouse higher, but their schedule didn't allow it. It pretty much is what it is.. the Predators are preying on the weaker teams but we'll seen if they have the prowess to take down a Jackal in a couple of weeks..
4:Spring Hill Pirates~ The Pirates have pillaged their way to an 8-0 record.. but they've had some close games against the teams below them.. are they willing to rape and pillage or have they snuck in during the night and stolen this spot.. we'll find out in the next 7 weeks
5: African Arms Dealers~ AAD is another original APL powerhouse.. they're lead by Steam Punk and had been hijacking the competition until they got ravaged by the Jackals.. they're a shoe in for the playoffs.. and then we'll see who can stop the heat of Steam Punk and avoid being boarded by the Arms Dealers..
6: AFRICAN PRO LOYALISTS ~ APL is a group of degenerates destined for greatness.. all in their way should cover their junk and hide their families...
7: Kink of Bling's Royal Crib~ King's babies are sitting at 4-4 but they've also played the top 4 in the division.. time will tell where they end as they will need to battle some of the playoff teams in the conference..
8:Cincinnati Spartans~ The Spartans have lost 5 of 8 already.. but they did start out with KC from the other conference and just lost to the Spring Hill (probably because they're bellies were full of free nachos ).. if they can lay off of the free food then they should make the playoffs.. but one of the seven deadly sins seams like it might be their weakness..
9: OffTopica Word~ Word on the Street is that this team isn't going to make the playoffs.. but you never know how far a little faith will get you.. honestly though sitting at 4-4 with the Spartans and the 4 undefeated teams left on the schedule.. they're looking at a 7-9 record
10: D-Town (Self)Destruction~ It's apparent that APL isn't nearly as strong top to bottom as it used to be.. D-Town is on the cusp of the playoffs and might as well might as well self destruct.. they're getting crushed by the upper teams and beating the teams they should beat (plus Team Prayer).... it's just not enough to be relevant ...
Beyond this.. I'm out of time and out of effort.. beat somebody over this line
