Throwing is really low if that's an end build.

that would be over 160 total if it's 4 AEQ, which isn't terrible

Spin doesn't fit the mold though. Spin requires high carry to be effective and it only fires when the QB is actually running. Scrambling behind the line is where Turn Shoulder SA comes in.

If Turn the Shoulder helps out when behind the line of scrimmage to help break sack tackles, would the slippery VA help break a sack tackle? Also, would first step help when behind the line of scrimmage after he makes the decision to run?

there's nothing to indicate it wouldn't, but that would be a question for Bort if they ever do a Q&A again

According to Bort, 1st step can fire anytime any dot is at a dead stop or very close to it, so it would depend on what exactly the QB was doing. If he hovering looking for someone to throw to, it probably would. If he's running for his life already, then it wouldn't.

So, if he is in the pocket and not moving (right after the drop back) and then starts to scramble, it could potentially fire? How much of a boost does 1st step give?
