WSA in Season 36

Hello all, each week the World Star Alliance will be releasing a newspaper, updating the public on the successes, failures, and interesting stories of the alliance. For those of you who dont know, here are the teams of the network:

*Blitzburgh Musclefrogs- Reg Minors #3
*New Guinea Pigs- Reg Minors #3
*Providence Black Ducks- Univ Elite
*Mandarin Mustangs- Univ Elite
*Dr. Cooper's Fun with Flags- Prep #1
*The Death Row Cartel- Prep #2
*Dubrovnik Revolution- Prep #2
*Rokkie Team- Prep #2
*Berlin Hounds from Hell- Rookie #4
*Shark Dance Party!- Rookie #2
*Miami Golden Gators- Pee Wee Silver #2
After gearing up for the launch of WSA Season 35, the much anticipated launch of the World Star Alliance finally came to be with the beginning of Season 36. It started off rough for the teams in the network, Mandarin starting 1-3, Providence 1-4, as well as other teams getting off to below average starts. However, season 36 ended up being a great inaugural season for the newborn network. 9 out of the 12 teams within the network made the playoffs, only 3 getting knocked out in round 2. Bringing home gold for the network was one season team Mario and Friends in a surprisingly competitive PeeWee Copper league while the Mandarin Mustangs and Rokkie Team both took home silvers. Many changes this offseason are being made to the teams from coordinators, to players. B1G has taken over ownership of the Nob Hill Mammoths, formerly known as the Desert Country Droids, and two farm teams are being launched this season, the Berlin Hounds from Hell and Shark Dance Party. The Black Ducks have brought in 35+ new players to their team for next season and look to improve on a second round loss recorded last season. All in all, it looks like a good season coming up for GLB's up and coming network.
Kenny Vaccaro commits to the World Star Alliance

On the 27th day of season 36, quite possibly the biggest announcement in the history of Goal Line Blitz and the World Star Alliance has been made. SS Kenny Vaccaro committed to the Mandarin Mustangs for season 37. Statues have been erected in his honor, mothers are offering their virgin daughters of all ages for love making with Kenny. The mothers are even offering themselves, as well as some fathers.
This is big news for the Alliance and Goal Line Blitz as a whole. Kenny Vaccaro was offered 7 World League contracts as a level 19 player at the end of his first season, but he felt as though he was a student of the game and had much more to learn. Kenny was on pace to win gold this season with ATLANTIC ICE, but came up short. He is now moving on and has brought his illustrious career to Mandarin. When asked what drove him to make the decision to join the team, he responded with: “Look, we all know I am the best ever. I can’t have my talents used outside of the network. I am ready to bring some gold trophies to the WSA. They obviously can’t do it without me.”
When the owner of Mandarin, Indicud, was asked about the commitment of Vaccaro, he responded with “I’m still hard from whenever he announced that he wanted to come to my team.” When the defensive coordinator, B1G, was asked how ecstatic he was to be able to scheme a defense tailor made for Vaccaro, he couldn’t put together a coherent sentence to capture his excitement.
All in all, next year will be a great one for Kenny Vaccaro and the Mandarin Kenny Vaccaro’s. (Mandarin Mustangs are being re-named.)
Team of the Week

My name is FluffyCat and I'll be presenting you the WSA team of the week. Basically, "WSA Team of the Week" will cover the team that performed the best this week.
The first-ever team to be awarded WSA Team of the Week is Rokkie Team. Rokkie team is owned by XxXMufasaXxX, and had a great season and playoff run.
During the regular season, Rokkie Team went 15-1, running off 15 straight to end of the season in rookie league 4. During the season, Rokkie Team averaged 87.9 points on offence and only allowed 3.8 points per game on defense.
During the playoffs, Rokkie Team had an amazing start with a 98-0 win against the Memphis Raiders. They faced the Cedar Creek Wildcats in the second round and won 49-14. They went on to face the Oakland Black Holes in the third round and smacked them 135-0. In the championship game, they faced Heroes vs. Villians, the only team that beat them in the season. Rokkie unfortunately fell to them 41-7.
Congratulations to Rokkie Team on being this week's WSA Team of the Week (more like team of the season)
