Warrior General Games

First, welcome to what is hopefully the post of the year in PWG. This will rank the current top 10 offensive and defensive coordinators in PWG. I researched this post by PMing nearly a dozen of the most respected coordinators in PWG and complied all of their rankings as well as my own. Some coordinators respectfully declined to vote and others were willing to give their honest opinions.

I will not for any reason reveal who voted and/or what they voted. Every agent who PMed me has the right to privacy and I will not share even one of their votes. If they choose to do so, that is their own decision but I will not.

Now, the only potential issue with this post is some of the voters might not be aware of who does what for which team. I addressed this when I sent to PM to the agents. Some coordinators are the owner with the opposing coordinator as the co-owner and nobody listed as the OC/DC. So there is a possibility we will incorrectly label an OC as a DC but it shouldn't be hard to know where the respect was meant to go.

I apologize to anyone who felt they should have had the opportunity to rank, but didn't. I only picked out a selected few so that this ranking would be compiled of only the best coordinators. I wanted this to be as close to correct as possible.

Offensive Coordinators:

#1 Lord Evil - He had the highest 1st place vote percentage of any vote getter from either offense or defense.

#2 Jkid2 - Obviously a well respected guy to be voted in at this spot.

#3 Whodey08 - Maybe new to PWG in season 36, but well respected as an offensive mind.

#4 Tazmann - I had thought he might be a little higher than this, but hard to be upset that you were voted in the top 10 at what you do.

#5 Dave Mr Majors - This was one of my dark horses to make it into the top 5 and he barely squeaks in just getting enough votes to get #5.

#6 Andersonba1210 - I refused to vote for myself, but I appreciate the respect guys. Honored to take this spot and very undeserving.

#7 Gerr - He may not have been a the top of any rankings, but everyone make sure to include this powerhouse OC.

#8 89stepside - He was literally maybe a vote away from overtaking Gerr's spot, but none the less gets voted into the top 10 with a nice ranking at #8.

#9 A.I. - I had expected him to land a lot higher, but he still breaks the top 10 with that always good screen game of his.

#10 itsply2 - He made in at #10 to close out this ranking, but did beat out some other very good OCs who also received votes.

Defensive Coordinators:

#1 Gerr - Obviously a great DC and well respected, Gerr got a ton of love on his votes and takes the top spot.

#2 jkid2 - jkid is clearly a great coordinator landing at #2 in both offensive and defensive rankings.

#3 A.I. - He was the only DC outside of the top two that got a first place vote.

#4 itsply2 - No sneaking in on this side, itsply2 gets a big ranking inside the top 5.

#5 Jackson555555 - Jackson rounds out the top 5 by literally getting one vote more than the next guy on the ranking.

#6 LordEvil - Coming in at #6 here isn't so bad considering he came in at #1 on the other side.

#7 Kelts - Despite the recent loss and the crap I gave him, everyone showed some love for Kelts putting him inside the top 10.

#8 Whodey08 - Surprised to see him this low? Maybe you shouldn't be since whodey only received one vote inside the top 5. However, still a great honor to be voted in the top 10.

#9 ManOgwaR - Despite the struggles of season 36, everyone still voted this guy in and he falls at #9. One of the few DCs in the bottom half to get ranked by every voter.

#10 LynyrdB - Sneaks in here at #10 over a lot of other qualified guys. Lynyrd got a lot of love for his work with the Crib Midgets.

Congrats to all those who got ranked. Let the debate begin!

I think it would take away from the value and concept of the article to post every vote getter, but I did want to put in these other two guys.

These are the guys who got the highest ranking percentage that were not ranked.

I've not considered special teams. At this point, I have no intentions of doing a STC post.

You may have gotten a vote, but you did not make the top 10 or the top 11 really with the honorable mention post. I will not reveal any vote-getters beyond those rankings. You may have gotten votes, but you did not make the top 11.

54-10 my last 4 seasons in Gold when fielding a team. 2 of those were no/no teams. If that isn't enough to be a respected voter then whatever.

To be fair, he did say "Current" PWG coordinators. To think you should be a top 10 with a CPU roster is a stretch. Had you fielded a team, I would think you would have been in the 10.

I think I am rated too high as a DC because ever since they made changes to how zones work, my defenses are just not as good. Plus the last few seasons my defense seems to start slow and gets better as the season goes on.

He said coordinators not builders or teams. Some of those guys have never beat me, some have never come close.

That is the emphasis here and was when I sent out the initial vote PM; current.

Clearly, voters did not think you were currently in that top category. Maybe time to field a team and change some minds.
