After a perfect week, I'm back at it with some interesting matchups.

Ghana Rhea Infection 10-0 @ Swaziland Southern Brown Mambas 0-10

The last remaining unbeaten versus the last remaining winless team in the conference. The GRI have called on the bench to play this one as they can rest easy in a laugher.

Infection 110 Mambas 0 (again)

GOTW Morocco Camels 9-1 @ African Killer Bees 9-1

One of the leagues best offenses against one of the leagues best defenses. The Camels have great offensive balance being top 3 in both Passing and Rushing. The Bees on the other hand have similar balance being in the top 5 in both Pass Defense and Rush Defense. The Camels defense has been statistically above average and the Bees do have a top 5 passing offense. Both teams bring it on defense being top 5 in hurries and top 3 in sacks. The big difference in this game comes from the Camels ability to make INTs. With 35 it seems they are very aggressive at the CB position. The next highest is 22 and the Bees only have 9. The Bees are also prone to picks tossing more than any other respectable team (they are 4th with the combined record of the teams with more at 1-29). I smell a major issue for the Bees as the Camels get just enough offense to win this one. (Yes, I picked against the Bees again!)

Camels 20 Bees 13

Los Angeles Extreme 8-2 @ Wichita Falls Rough Riders 2-8

Both teams score a 33 overall but they aren't anywhere near that close. The Rough Riders have had a brutal first 11 game schedule that hits all of the conferences best teams (and they lost all of them including being shut out by the Jinx). The Extreme can start planning for next weeks big matchup with the Mambas.

Extreme 38 Rough Riders 3

Russian Tractor 8-2 @ Mogadishu Malice 1-9

Another laugher as the Tractor gear up for a big meeting with the Camels in week 13. We'll really get to see where they stand in that one. The Malice continue their losing streak. Luckily they have the Blazes next in an epic battle of titans.

Tractor 33 Malice 0

Casablanca White Houses 2-8 @ San Dimas Saints 7-3

Teams again very close on paper show the clear divide in this conference. The White Houses are building for tomorrow. The Saints are playing above their level and shown they can hang with anyone (haven't lost by more than 6 points yet) They face a tough 3 of the final 4 games against teams with combined records of 26-4 up to this point. They cannot sleep on the White Houses but they should survive.

Saints 20 White Houses 10

Eaton Beavers 7-3 @ Mozambique Lions 6-4

Two teams that on paper look pretty damn close. The Beavers are on a 5 game win streak while the Lions have lost 4 out of 5. We do not take these Lions lightly though I'm glad they shut up about the undefeated season. Good luck, good games.

River Styx Jinx 4-6 @ High Plains Drifters 3-7

Clearly two of the better under .500 teams. On paper they are almost identical again. The Drifters seem to have the higher level players but are inconsistent. Both of these teams struggle to put two good weeks together. Winner keeps a glimmer of hope of the playoffs alive. Loser gets ready for next season. The Jinx have fooled me a couple times and I'm going against them here...they just might prove me wrong again.

Drifters 16 Jinx 10

Congo Death 3-7 @ New Jersey Blazes 1-9

The Death stopped their spiral last week and get another favorable matchup here. I think they're going for leagues worst chemistry as it's 10 and yet they're still trading during the double chemistry hit period. They've certainly had their issues this season but they still have some high level guys. The Blazes are just well, bad.

Death 24 Blazes 7

The chemistry hit to us isnt a big deal... since the total amount of bonus for chemistry is 10%. We are thinking towards next year.

Question for the Eaton Beavers. Do any of you live in Colorado? I used to live just outside of Eaton Colorado for a while.

And good luck this week... well not too much.

I like being picked to lose

...as long as we don't actually do it.

Good reading GM...

I'll be suprised if the difference in the GOTW is a touchdown. I got a feeling it's going to be one of those last team standing kinda games...

But it's nice to have the 'cupcake' portion of our schedule over with and get back to playing the really tough teams in our conference...

No prediction of Beavers vs. Lions?

It should be a close one.

I'm not going to say us because you guys are gonna roll your eyes and say not them again.... but I'm not going to say them, because I don't think they're gonna win this one...

final score... 16-13
