A little history behind where the teams started (note richey gutted and restarted with a different teamID somewhere along the way, but this should be a fairly accurate recap of both team's early GLB legacy)
Season 2
-Chicago Hedgehogs were founded and put into USA A#6
-Richey Royals were founded and put into USA A#6
The first game ever for both of these franchise was in fact against each other, Richey won decisively 31-3 in season 2 game 1.
Hedgehogs finished 7-9, while Richey went on to a 14-2 record and losing in the 2nd round.
Season 3
Both teams still in USA A#6.
Richey won the regular season game against the Hedgehogs 23-13, and the 2nd round playoff game 30-20.
Hedgehogs finished 12-4, while Richey finished 16-0 with a CCG and a promotion to USA AA.
Season 4
Richey went 15-1 in USA AA finishing with a 15-1 record and a 2nd round playoff loss.
Hedgehogs went 14-2 in USA A#6, and went on to win 4 playoff games, a league championship, and a promotion to AA.
Season 5
Royals beat Hedgehogs 40-17 in the regular season.
Richey finished 14-2 and lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs
Hedgehogs finished 11-5 and lost in the 2nd round of the playoffs
Both teams earned promotions to USA AAA.
Season 6
Richey beat the Hedgehogs 27-17
Richey went 14-2 and lost in the 1st round of the playoffs.
Hedgehogs finished 8-8.
Season 7
Hedgehogs beat Richey 33-30 in the regular season, and 30-20 in rd1 of the playoffs.
Richey finishes with a 10-6 record and a rd1 playoff loss.
Hedgehogs finish with a 12-4 record and a loss in the CCG. Winning a USAPro Promotion!!!
(Richey goes on to earn a WL Promotion in season 8, but is promoted to the other USAPro conference)
