So I was hoping that the roaring tusk would bring more people back to the APL forum.. and then it didn't.. and then I got busier then I expected to be.. and then I decided to have a few or a bunch of cocktails tonight and thought hmmm.. this would be a good time for a recap
~ African Arms Dealers~ These young studs look like they came back to APL to prove something they're riding a 8 game win streak and if it hadn't been for that 1 point loss to TAP it would be much longer (I'm sure that's also what they tell their ladies) They have the 2nd most rushing yards in the conference and 3rd most passing yards in the conference.. aka they're dangerous on the ground and in the air the double edged sword of Steam Punk and the Stache are lethal and this team will finish 15-1. When it's playoff time are they the dealers or the buyers...
~Rocky Mountain Thunder~ These dots are riding a rocky mountain high.. 7 in a row is nothing to scoff at.. unfortunately for them TAP is the team that keeps this streak from being longer (does anybody else see a theme here?) only chance that they lose another game this regular season would be APL in week 16, but we'll see how many cares are there for either team at that point in time. With the 3rd and 6th leading yard gainers on the ground and top receiver (seriously does nobody cover their TE?) they're another double edged sword that is rumbling for their shot at WL
~The African Predators~ Oh well look what we have here (that's sarcasm if it didn't come across that way) TAP is a power house season in and season out.. they're going to win out and are assured a home playoff game.. the question is after being on cruise control for the season.. can they turn it on and catch up to the teams that have had their foot on the throttle all season? They have the talent .. but time will tell if they are sandbagging or being sandbagged...
~ Bambey Hunters~ New School was rumbled by the Thunder in week 2 and held up by the Arms Dealers in week 3.. since then they have been letting have been letting Tossin Bombs III spread defenses open like the starlet in an adult film! 3 films left on the schedule and a home playoff game is in their future.. at least that's what the gypsy told me..
~ Gridiron Avatars ~ Siege~ The Siege is sitting at 9-4 and will finish and will finish at 12-4.. they won't get a home field game in the playoffs but the masked "Dragon Sword" will try to pass them through the first round. The problem for Gridiron is that their 4 losses are to the teams ahead of them.. can they surround the enemy or are they being set up for a counter attack...
~ African Pro Loyalists~.. nothing to see here.. move along..
~ Tittsburg Feelers~ This team had a dream run to start their first season in APL (yes I still call it APL so piss off) 7-0 to get the season started.. and then I told you things were about to change.. now sitting at 8-5 and staring 8-8 straight in the face.. it's time to put out or get shut out.. ooops.. I meant put up or get shut up.. ooops I meant welcome to 8-8.. good news is you'll make the playoffs.. bad news is you're going to be 1 and done
~ Quebec War Eagles~ upside is you'll pass the Titts.. down side is you'll be a first round sacrifice to the GLB gods.. congrats on a winning season.. sorry about what happens to you in 4 weeks..
~ Everybody else.. sorry I'm running out of steam just like your teams .. either prove me wrong or welcome to regional pro and 20 weeks about agents complaining about their level 68 team playing level 79s....
