Tittsburg Feelers @ Bambey Hunters:
The Titty Feelers come into week 8 after coasting to a 205 point win in front of their home fans.. but now it's time to see if the conferences top ranked passer Roland Deschain can continue to lead the Feelers on this dream season. The problem for Roland and all of the Feelers is they had their cupcakes before the meat. You should never eat desert before dinner!! The Hunters are coming off a 34 point win over the repetitive southern team and I'm pretty sure they've been sitting in their blinds waiting for Tittsburg to arrive ever since.. if you looked at the season stats you'd think this one was all Titts.. but that's just not the case the Feelers come in all filled up on cupcakes and leave this one sick to their stomachs

APL @ West Ashley Kittens:
This one doesn't even get much time.. everybody is treating West Ashley like the village bicycle and now it's our turn... stat whoring activated

Quebec War Eagles @ Coruscant Sith:
Quebec War Eagles soar into Force Stadium (really.. Force Stadium ) enjoying a 4 game winning streak and looking to push it to 5. Shadow "TD" Hedgehog is the conferences leading rusher and there are only two things that will slow him down today against the conferences 3 worst rush defense.. the end zone and blowout adjusted stats..

Alabama Tidesports Crimson Tide @ African Arms Dealers:
The Tide rolls into the Weapons Depot hoping that conferences 2nd leading rusher, Sweet Pain, can carry them to victory... oh but not so fast Crimson fans.. those stats came against a soft schedule and now it's time for Pat "the stache" and Steam Punk to show you what a rushing game really looks like... statistically these teams are close but on the field today the Tide will find that an elephant is no match for a bunch of rowdy mofos with guns!!

Gridiron Avatars ~ Siege @ Rocky Mountain Thunder:
The Siege stumble into Mile High Stadium (-2 points for originality) after a tough game against TAP.. at half time it looked like Ryu and Barry Bo had read the Roaring Tusk recap and decided they wanted to make a statement.. hit halftime down by 4 and then forgot to score again until there was 30 seconds left in the game.. whoever gave the halftime pep talk should still be taped to a goal post at Siege Palladium stadium. While that was going on the Thunder and their balanced offensive attack were turning Norfolk into the Nightsparrows. This is another key week for the Siege as they look to establish themselves as one of the upper teams in Africa.. unfortunately I think they're the ones that are surrounded currently and just haven't realized it yet.

OffTopica Word @ Grande Torino:
The Word needed a 15 point 4th quarter comeback to avoid being spellbound by the Voodoo last week.. while Grande Torino was getting run over by the War Eagles, literally run over to the tune of 560 yards rushing!! If OffTopica is out of their prayer session in time they'll notice that this might be a good day for Otis and Thundercat to get a little work. If they don't well.. maybe they'll get a little divine intervention again. No matter how you look at it.. well actually the more I look at it.. it appears that the guys in the Grande Torino logo are actually laying down that flag.. welcome to .500 OffTopica

Norfolk Nighthawks @ Voodoo Legends:
The Norfolk Sparrows and Voodoo Myths have been anything but good this season.. with a combined record of 1-11 in the conference this isn't a game that will excite anybody.. anybody except for Voodoo that is. After snatching defeat from the jaws of victory last week.. I see this as the week that they'll finally have something to cheer about at Voodoo Legends Field (holy crap.. really.. I'm going to have to go back and edit the facepalm out of the Sith's write up because theirs was predictable yours is just f'n lazy).. Norfolk will need Atlas and D Thomps to control the clock otherwise I think those little toy dolls will finally pay off this season for Tim & Company. I'll take a chance and go with the upset Voodoo cast a spell on the Nighthawks and turn them into turkeys..

Cape Verde @ The African Predators:
Cape Verde got turned upside down last week by AAD and now they're out of the frying pan and into The Jungle! Nothing like seeing The Hunters followed by The Dealers followed by The Predators on your schedule... I think Kid Roz and friends are in a little over their heads in this part of the season. With HB "Throwin" Stones and QB Jay Kwaz throwing the ball.. this perennial powerhouse is still a little out of Cape's league. They can hope that those 100 gm's on the Preds are in full on zero cares mode.. but that's a stretch.. Cape get's mauled in The Jungle today..

I must say that I laughed a few times here at work while reading this

some good ones:

" I'm pretty sure they've been sitting in their blinds waiting for Tittsburg to arrive ever since"

"Quebec War Eagles soar into Force Stadium (really.. Force Stadium )"

"it appears that the guys in the Grande Torino logo are actually laying down that flag.. welcome to .500 OffTopica"

"Voodoo Legends Field (holy crap.. really.. I'm going to have to go back and edit the facepalm out of the Sith's write up because theirs was predictable yours is just f'n lazy).. "

" I'll take a chance and go with the upset Voodoo cast a spell on the Nighthawks and turn them into turkeys"

I think it's harder in today's GLB. until you get to Natty Pro you only ever spend 1 season in any league. By the time you get to one league you've gotten used to not caring as much about the league forum.

The write-up you do though is great and is the kind of thing that gets people back. It is appreciated. Thanks
