Tittsburg Feelers~ I have a feeling this team was a tribute to Big Ben and his bathroom exploits. They've kicked off their APL debut in glorious fashion.. 6-0 has to have this team feeling pretty good about themselves.. and they'll be heading to 7-0 in a couple days.. problem is just like most natural "Titts" they're perfect days are limited and they'll soon be doing a free fall to somewhere around the middle because weeks 8-10 will be their official welcome to APL
The African Predators~ Not much to say about TAP.. perennial contender in APL and always a team to worry about.. currently sitting at 5-1 though I noticed they lost this season to the Bambi Hunters for the first time ever.. makes me wonder are they on cruise control or are they losing a step..
either way with 2 quality wins in a row I see them rattling off another 4 in a row without much trouble
African Pro Loyalists~ We'll call this the inaugural season in APL for APL.. but this team is stacked with veteran agents that have been around this league for a long time.. so while the agents might be long in the tooth these dots are just hitting their stride... disappointing start to the season against Cap Horn but are enjoying a soft schedule early and will continue to do so for the next 2 weeks
African Arms Dealers~ Another "old school" team that is just making their way back to APL.. solid group of agents and dots (I know I've seen them all the way back up here) only blemish is a 1 point loss to TAP.. so I think they're showing their here to do what arms dealers do.. whatever the hell they want to! I can see them running their record to 8-1
Rocky Mountain Thunder~ It's good to see some familiar teams around here.. RMT has been here before and worked through APL to WL recently.. they were one game away last season from the promise land and I'm sure they're itching for another chance to get there. With 2 L's on the season so far (by a combined 5 points) I'm sure they're feeling pretty comfortable heading to the playoffs (yes they're heading to the playoffs because they're about to rip of 8 in a row) only question is what will the playoffs seed be....
Bambey Hunters~ Well it looks like "new school" is sitting at 4-2 to start the season.. but I'll give Ace & Co. credit.. that includes 3 of the toughest games of the season. I think having the Arms Dealers beat them down was a huge wake up call.. definitely a playoff team.. question is where will they land...?
Gridiron Avatars ~ Siege~ Honestly I don't know much about the Siege.. I know they started out with 4 easy wins but have hit a couple of the stronger teams in the league the last couple of weeks and it showed.. I'm sure they're a playoff team.. but I don't think they're a home playoff game team. Next week they get TAP.. so if you all want to make a statement.. now might be a good time or you could slide to 4-4
Alabama Tidesports Crimson Tide~ Might have wanted to think they name through a little more.. it's like say the same thing twice but two different ways just to try and confuse people. Regardless of the name.. the Tide went 8-8 here last season and are hoping for something similar.. I don't think TheBear & Co. have any fairy tail dreams of APL championships.. they started the season by getting tortured by some 90's music and then fell to the Nighthawks before recovering.. picked up 4 easy wins in a row.. but all good things must come to an end.. they're about to get taken behind the wood shed (I'm sure the Alabama boys are familiar with this phrase) by the Hunters!
Quebec War Eagles~ Another team that I'm not very familiar with.. they managed to go 10-6 last season.. but I'm wondering how soft the bottom half of APL was last season.. already got pounded by The Loyalists and RMT only time will tell if these are War Eagles or stuffed eagles..
Cape Verde~ Another team returning to APL and is off to a 4-2 start with both of the defeats coming to teams that will be making the playoffs. This team is still a wild card so only time will tell.. and the time is now because the Arms Dealers are coming and if you're not careful they'll turn your islands upside down!
OffTopica Word~ First off congrats to Yello1 for getting one of the OffTopica franchise to WL.. The Word however is a much different team.. 2-4 isn't a promising start but next game on the schedule is Voodoo Legends and Word has it that they're not Legendary..
Norfolk Nighthawks~ So far this season the Nighthawks have found out that they're a difference in competition from Reg. Pro. Comp. 2 and APL.. and that difference is about to become painfully obvious.. the Nighthawks are going to have to become the predator instead of the prey if they hope to stick around.. things don't get better next week as they can probably already hear the Thunder coming..
Coruscant Sith~ Welcome to APL and I hope you enjoy your final 10 weeks in APL. When you lose by 97 in the first round of the playoffs in Reg. Pro Comp. 2. you shouldn't be in APL and you won't be much longer.. sorry but this season isn't going to get much easier for you...
Voodoo Legends~ Voodoo.. you lost 9 games last season and you're still here? Well the good news is that last week they set a new season high scoring 10 points.. bad news is they haven't held anybody under 27 so far.. next week will be proof that Voodoo is bad and miracles can happen on any given sim day..
Grande Torino~ Man I really liked that movie.. yeah that's all I have.. at least you guys get to play with some West Ashley Voodoo Sith.. so there's that..
