Your owner must be a real D-bag
but in all seriousness you are on a D league team, you cant be traded, but you can sign with any human owned team appropriate for your players age whenever you would like.

Uggh...
But seriously, this is a big problem for GLB. This guy just signed up in April and made his first dot mid-season. Of course it's gonna be a QB or HB. He creates this dot and signs him to the D-League where he's got nobody to even tell him the dot is already screwed up. There should really be some standardized PM's that go to an agent immediately after sign-up but before they are allowed to create a dot in order to keep these things from happening. How is he supposed to know that creating prior to Day 40 is bad? How is he supposed to know that pouring SP into SA's is bad?
Now you've got yet another guy who wanted to play the game and will possibly be so discouraged that he'll leave the game. Bad business IMO.

+1. It has been too long since I paid any attention to D leagues, but at one time, people would post useful tips on team forums. I would bet that most teams have had no useful tips in many seasons. What they really should do is get rid of D team forums, and have a generic D forum, that way no matter what team you are on, there could be some useful stickied threads.

you should just play out this season and then retire and rebuild him on day 40, there will be plenty of rookie teams that need dots

He can salvage the QB, just have to stop dropping SPs into SAs, neglect AEQ and go normal/extreme on the build from here out.
Probably can still get 1 or 2 AEQ though, never know.
