Okay, we are ten games in and the playoff picture is starting to form. I thought it would be fun to do a self-assessment of your squad while also making some predictions on the ways the playoffs will plan out while handing out some *predictions* for early awards. I'll start off.

Team Evals

Offense: A-

I'd give us Tanks an A except for our slow start. We were mostly a rushing team that relied heavily on our defense, but recent improvements to our passing game have produced some fantastic results.

Defense: A+

I think we have one of the best defenses in the League. My guys have been great all year, and I can hang my hat that if we go deep into the playoffs they will have a big part of it.

Special Teams: A++

We have the best kicker in the league, and I can confidently say that. He's won games for us and has kept us in some close loses. Our punter doesn't get much work, but he usually pins them back to allow us to sic' our Defense on them.

Coaching Staff: INC

I don't judge my own work. Our Offensive Coordinator has done a great job though.

Season Review

Who has been your Offensive MVP?
For the Tanks it has to be Jason Dean. With multiple games of 3 TDs and 100 yard game, he has been a stud all year long.

Who has been your Defensive MVP?
This one is tough, I have so many choices. Between the Bazell brothers and Young and Hardin in the secondary I have a plethora of choices. But I have to go with the man in the middle, J.J. Adams. Our NT has been so dominant that no team has rushed for more 100 yards on us this season.

Which team has been the hardest you've faced?
The Stallions would be the easy choice here since they are undefeated in our Conference, but they were our first game of the season and it is hard to judge without proper game plans. For that reason alone I'll say the Brighton Bears, it can't get tougher than 10-9 in their stadium.

Which teams from your Conference will make the playoffs?
The top 7 teams, and the Hammers pull out the final spot.

Where do you see your squad at the end of the season?
Championship.

Who wins it all?
See above. If it isn't us, it will probably be the Stallions.

This is just for fun guys, with all the shit talking aside this League has been fun with some great posters and threads. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Helsinki Hammers

Team Evals

Offense: C+

Some of game the offense has just not been able to get rolling. The elite defenses in the league have shut us down.

Defense: B

With the various acquisitions we have made our defense is solid now. Early going about all we had were our outstanding set of LB's.

Special Teams: C

Solid C 15/21 made.

Coaching Staff: C+

Still learning the sim.

Season Review

Who has been your Offensive MVP?

That has to be our QB Adrian Rollins. He is a young QB and has taken the reins of the offense and made it his own.

Who has been your Defensive MVP?
This is a very tough decision, the league leader in tackles or the league leader in sacks? If I had to choose it would have to be Scrogz Frombehind with his 119 tackles.

Which team has been the hardest you've faced?
That would be the beat down the Stallions put on us. All of our other losses have been by an average of less than 6 points.

Which teams from your Conference will make the playoffs?
The Hammers are focusing on their games and trying to make the playoffs without worrying about the rest of the league.

Where do you see your squad at the end of the season?
In the Playoffs.

Who wins it all?
The Stallions

Team Evals

Offense: C+

Our offesne has really started picknig up the last few games. Sicne it's really all about learning how to exploit the SIM as muhc as anything it's a learneing curve more than anything.
We had a terrible start due the owner (me) not really understanding how much the league was goint to load up and how the SIM worked. I finally have my head at least a little out of my a$$

Defense: B+

Our "D" is really the heart of out team, especially our front 7. Only one blow out again us (Damn cheater Stallions) and several shut outs.

Special Teams: B

We have a great kicker and punter. Some missed PAT's that are hard to explin but we have been doing a great job os playing the "Field Position game".

Coaching Staff: C Average (D more Offense/B for Defense)
The owner/OC (me) is a stubborn dumbass. He's finally comming around and understanding it's not football, it's GLB. They are nothing alike
To his credit, our DC mostly ignore the OC's advice and, as a result, he is doing a great job.

Season Review

Who has been your Offensive MVP?

I am going to go with our Offensive Line. They have really been setting the tone the last few games and doing a great job.

Who has been your Defensive MVP?

Our DT/NT's. Those guys are a nightmare for anyone to handle. Being that stong up the middle makes everything else work that much more smoothly.

Which team has been the hardest you've faced?
The (cheaty) Stallions. They kicked our teeth in, stoped to catch their breath, and then kicked our teeth in some more.

Which teams from your Conference will make the playoffs?
I think the current top 8 are close to a lock for the play off's.

Where do you see your squad at the end of the season?
I hope to win out and get a home play off game. Once in the play off's your guess is as good as mine. I'll be more than happy with a strong finish.

Who wins it all?
The (cheaty) Stallions. No question in my mind. I neither know nor care about the Alpha conference (sorry guys)

Whitechapel Rippers

Offense: A-

We have a great balance of run and pass. Some of the better teams have held us down a bit, but have done enough to control the ball and win. If we can cut down on some of the TO's lately I would grade a bit higher.

Defense: Solid A

Our D has been nothing short of spectacular. 4 Shutouts in a row at one point, and have not surrendered over 10 points in a single game. They are the backbone of the Rippers and that is how teams win. Control the ball and great D.

Special Teams: D

Our coverage teams have not been the best and our K and P have been way to inconsistent. We have a lot of room for improvement in these areas.

Coaching Staff: I won't put a grade on us, but I feel we have done a pretty good job. We recruited very actively and still are to build our team to be the best it can. Our gameplanning has been effective enough. The most important thing is we have a ton of fun doing it.

Which team has been the hardest you've faced?
The Scotland Celtics were very tough. We had a close game with them almost the entire game. This is one team we would not mind missing in the playoffs.

Which teams from your Conference will make the playoffs?
Whitechapel, Liverpool, Scotland, Amsterdam, Massilon, Rotterdam, West Yorkshire, and Barcelona (No Particular Order).

Where do you see your squad at the end of the season?
We hope to maintain homefield advantage for the playoffs. Once we get there it may be a crapshoot. Our goal is obviously the Championship Game.

Who wins it all?
Stallions vs. Rippers (We will see what happens!!)

Grades I don't think are relevant this season. I give all my units A+'s if I have to pick something. I put the team together with the mindset of a three-year plan to win the championship. The A+ is a grade on our first half of the season progression to that goal. We've had our lumps this year, but I couldn't be happier with the way we've improved. I'm eager for these upcoming games as it will show me exactly how far we've come in that goal this season.

Which team has been the hardest you've faced?
Brighton. Without doubt. That could change as we face some other heavies in our conference from here on out. We don't have any games that will be easy. We're probably underdogs in most of them.

Which teams from your Conference will make the playoffs?
Stallions, Bears, Tanks look like the top 3 seeds. After that, it's going to be a fight for position.

Where do you see your squad at the end of the season?
I think we'll be in the playoffs. It'll take quite a bit of luck to get to a championship. There are some damn good teams we'd have to knock off. I doubt we'd be able to do it 4 times in a row.

Who wins it all?
Rippers look to be the Alpha favorite right now. In Zeta, I think you have to look at those top three teams (Stallions, Bears, and Tanks). Whoever comes out of that will probably win the whole league this year.
