Elite is just vicious, I thought GA had a great chance, but then I remembered, I have no tactics setting skills, , thank goodness I have one of the best in LT56 on my side.

So...Apoc almost broke the Muskateers streak, and some tough wins over the frogs & Perth, both games we were picked to get trounced on...yeah, I'm feeling ok again, not favorites by any means but, good.

Alright, well give it up. Tips to beat the Muskets and leave them in tears? Haven't had much luck in the past and have pretty much relegated myself to taking any advice even if it proves wrong :-)

Elite is tough and it gets tougher as teams get weeded out and you get moved up.

I do find it interesting how some league forums are so much more active than others. This league doesn't have a ton of CPU teams, so you would have thought it would have been busier.

I could be completely wrong, so forgive my ignorance if I am. What I have noticed through the years is that normal leagues are populated more heavily by single guys and or high school/college age kids with more free time. Casual leagues have a significantly higher population of businessmen that enjoy the competitiveness and even a bit of camaraderie but no longer have the free time that normal leagues take.

I have a wife, two kids and a large mortgage payment which means my free time is slim to none. So playing with tactics in casual is all that I have time for. I have found the same thing with many other owners and agents.

So for those that say "lol, casual" I imagine the response is "walk a mile in my shoes son". Hmm, that made me sound like an old man. Enough of that and turn that DAMN music/rap down :-)

generally speaking, yeah you're right. I'm a "college-age kid with more free time" but I dont want my free time devoted to this. I enjoy it for the reasons you do, too.
GLB is fun. but its not my life.
And yeah the response to "lol casual" is similar to "walk a mile in my shoes" and then forums become contentious and personal and thats when you mix fun with shit
