Just got here and thought I would start this thread. The Durruti Column is in 'da house!

There has been some discussion as to the inadequacy of the promtion process for the causal leagues. bascialy the lower 2 teams from each pro conference are replaced by the conferenc winnes in elite 1 and 2.

The formula tha works for regular is not working for casual , look at the numbers.
There are 5 regular pro leagues (including the world which is mostly regular) 20 turnover for 7 semi-pro leagues = 224 teams, 20/224 teams = 10% turnover

there is 1 casual pro = 4 teams to serve 4 leagues = 128 teams 4/128 = 3% turnover. It is 3 x harder to get a promotion in th casual with this setup

I have started a thread in suggestions as per bort, that is necessary to make any changes. we need other owners and team memebers to contribute to make it look like it is of concern to more than 2 people,

Well, I can't speak for any other team, but we are a good two to three seasons away from even thinking of reaching the regular pro leagues. I get your point and I agree with it, but there are already too few human-owned teams in casual right now. My concern is that if you add one or two more casual pro leagues without reducing the number of lower leagues, then it will become top-heavy with pro teams that don't deserve to be there.

I think the issue is the lack of humans in your league overall, but there are a few teams, maybe PM the owners and top agents, get some conversation going here possibly.

Thanks for this, GMan. You are probably right about the lack of people in this league. It's sad, actually. GLB used to be a lot more active than this.
