As a huge Manchester United fan, what a sad moment; The announcement of pending retirement from Sir Alex Ferguson, the greatest living coach in any sport in the world. His coaching prowess and achievements can only be matched by John Wooden in my opinion.

At the close of the current English Premier League season, Sir Alex Ferguson will retire. He is 71 years old.

His personal trophy collection will demand a separate house and a map to keep track of all 49. He won 13 league trophies since the beginning of the Premier League, in 1992. That means that in the 21-year history of the EPL, Manchester United and Ferguson have won more than half.

Pick any year at random. The odds Ferguson won it are better than even!

I'd divide his accomplishments by half since they don't know how to use their hands.

Im a huge Liverpool fan, and have no love for United, but SAF deserves the praise for his accomplishments and how he has built up United
