Interesting matchup with Sin City and Man U.

Talk about two contrasting styles of offense.

I think I would rather make a WR and QB on my team than that team. We originally made this team just to have fun with WR's, TE's and the backfield. It turned out to be pretty solid. Was getting tired of just running the ball and agents wasting money on WR's.

Nothing wrong with the other way just boring and been there done that kinda thing. Ya know.

The number 1 Running team going against the number 1 passing team. Both teams with solid defense. This should be a very good game.

It depends on if you are a stat whore or not. I would suspect that most agents on very good teams don't give 2 shits if they have 8 sacks, 200 yards rushing, 10 catches if the team doesn't win or at least remain competitive. I know there are plenty of agents like that out there, they would rather rack up stats in competitive then put on their big boy pants and play at the elite level. Its sad but true. Its not a rip on you or your team since you are both winning and putting up numbers but I'd be willing to bet that X man has agents that want to win first, 10 yards receiving vs 2000 yards receiving doesn't mean anything if you don't get the team trophy.

To expand on that thought, it is why a lot of people put absolutely no stock in the MVP awards. It doesn't always mean that the MVP isn't a fantastic player but just because DE "A" had 15 sacks against the worst team in the league and ended up getting helf off the stat sheet against the solid teams while laying flat on his back against the run and ends up with a higher overall sack total then DE "B" who only had 6 sacks against the worst team in the league but also showed up and made several key plays against the top opponents, which player is more VALUEABLE ? You don't really need 15 sacks in a game you win 255-0 but it would be nice to have a player make a few key stops on 3rd and short in a game decided by a single FG or TD.

Just my opinion.

MVP is bullshit for sure, unless you win it.

Very true.

Just like if you lose in the regular season, you don't put much effort in to the regular season but if you had won the regular season game, it was because of your skillful game planning.

Ok making a QB running team. You get to make all 5 WR's then. Oh what you don't want to spend all those flex points ok well I prove my point then.

Flex points are cheap.

Depends on your priorities. Sin City is certainly not in a win at all cost mode as those times have long passed. More in it for entertainment while building different players and trying different things. Go casual and build a team that passes 100% of the time sounded interesting/fun (since we were more of a running team back in the day)......Certainly not an attempt to build numbers or stat whore if that is what you hinting at....

Congrats Manchester and good luck in the finals

Thats is pretty much what I was saying.

Unspoken said that he would rather have a QB or WR on his team then on MU. The only difference between having a WR on MU and Sin City is that the WR on Sin City will put up more stats and I was basically telling him that while they are a rare breed, some agents don't care about stats so it is likely that the agents who have WR's on run first teams, might want to watch their player hold blocks or pancake CB's as badly as an agent with a speedy pass catcher want to watch their player catch a half dozen balls or more a game. If you read my posts again, I wasn't ripping your team as I stated in the part you even quoted, just responding to Unspokens opinion about it being more fun to have QB/WR on Sin City then MU and I disagreed. He might have more fun with a QB and WR on his team but I would be willing to bet that Xmans QB and WR agents are very content to be playing tomorrow.

I get the screwing around angle completely. I've had teams where we ran the entire offense through the FB just to see if we could do it. To each his own.

Lots of backpeddling here, you should play cornerback.

That argument I would agree with. It is quite possible that agents on a run only team enjoy watching their WR's hold blocks and pancake CB's just as much as someone watching their WR make catches etc.....But that is not what you stated (though it could have been what you meant)....You stated those agents probably don't care about stats and only want the trophy which implies they are "making some sort of sacrifice" or getting their entertainment from the wins and not the player result. Which of course is a different argument then watching their player dominate in blocking.

Not that it really matters like you said to each their own. And since Xman owns all the players then he can do whatever he wants for whatever reason he wants.....
