General Information

Welcome to the Official Casual Addicts' Pro Tournament. The rules for this year's tournament will be slightly different from the past. So please read closely.

Who is Eligible:

The season 34 tournament is open to Casual League Pro and Casual Reg Pro teams only

Tournament Description:

Two stages : Group and Elimination.

Group Stage:

There will be 8 Groups with 4 teams in each group totaling 32 total teams. Teams will be placed in groups with a consensus ranking system from a few qualified individuals. The goal is to be as balanced as we can within each pool. Every team entered is guaranteed 3 games in this tournament.

The Max Amount of games a team would play is 7. (3 in group play, 4 for the elimination section).
There will be a three day window for each game to be scheduled which allows plenty of time for the tournament to conclude before the regular GLB playoffs. We encourage you guys to use the scrims on demand if possible. Just PM each other before an instant scrim is sent so no one is caught unprepared for a matchup. I suggest you turn “off” your scrim on demand setting until you have this coordinated among each other.

ELIMINATION ROUNDS

Group Stage Scoring:
-- W = 3 points
-- W in OT = 2 points
-- L in OT = 1 point
-- T = 1 point

The Top 2 teams in each seed will advance to the elimination round. The elimination round will look like the below graphic.

Scrimmage Rules

When you set up the scrimmage please select these and only these options:

[ ] Results are viewable by the participants only
[x] Use playoff-style overtime rules
[ ] Enable home team abilities
[ ] Enable salary-based morale bonuses

General Rules
– You will schedule your own matches
– If a GM signs a team up, verification will be made with Owner
– A PM will be sent to owner upon sign-up to verify T.O.C. of the Casual Addicts Tournament.
– You must schedule these scrimmages within the 3 day window provided above (failure to do so may result in a forfeit)
– Each match will cost the team owner 25 Flex Points. If sending a scrim on demand is needed, the team sending the request will have to pay the 50 flex points. Try to be fair and spread it out.
– Once a match is scheduled, it cannot be unscheduled, and there are no Flex Point refunds

1st place – GOLD Trophy
2nd place – SILVER Trophy
3rd place – BRONZE Trophy
Tournament MVP (chosen by the Addicts organizers) – MVP Trophy

– By signing up for this tournament, you accept these terms.
– Matches that are scheduled will cost each team owner 25 flex and no refunds are given.
– If you do not schedule a match we will make efforts to schedule it for you; however, it may result in a forfeiture.
– Should you decide to drop out, you must notify the tournament organizer. If you decide to opt out after matches have been scheduled, no Flex Point refund will be awarded. Should you decide to retract your opting out, you must notify the tournament organizer BEFORE the next game is simulated that you have decided to stay in. If you win your match, but no retraction to your opting out had been sent, you will forfeit that win.

They are all uncapped leagues. There are certainly some RegPro teams that can compete in Pro already.

For those 240 day old regPro teams it may be tough, but may still be a fun test. Still haven't decided if I am going to enter my Syracuse team., but for the 280 day old and plateau teams, I don't see it being a problem. This tourney guarantees every team that enters 3 games.
