I sure learned a shit ton about OCing in WL my first season up here. Barring some miracle performed by guest coordinators wanting some experience, Benin will demote.
I will likely get trolled to hell for posting this, but the least I can do is say thanks to Snakes, Fast420, the Hood Crew, Tomcic, AC, Sebber, Pwned, McBriar, Jverser, Showtime, Remaran, and Sg21 and a few others for sticking with me when I sucked and helping me learn up here.
For those of us that own teams that can't recruit as a WL playoff team, you do what you can to get the best dots and give it a go. I think most agents in this game know me from annoying them from dots, and it was fun to coordinate up here against the best.
Games 1-5 - 4 teams had WL gold or Wl gold coordinators and owners, so we were screwed but somehow beat Nairobi. The Padre's game was well played by them.
Games 6 and 7 were fun to win, and were expected wins.
Games 8 and 9 hurt like hell. BDS won the OT coin flip and iced us. Miami had a crazy play that has been discussed, but we were s%%t out of luck. http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2285616&pbp_id=5029190
Then we beat the Dogs and Hogwarts. It looked promising. We held a mini helmet and I decided not to use it on SSM like an ass. Asau, well....s$$t. That sucked and killed us for good.
I have been pretty quiet in these forums to not draw attention to us, but when I look back at 4 losses for a combined 18 points, there is a lot to learn. We just got beat by dudes that know this game well and played their cards better than us.
Mad props to all of you. It took like 17 seasons, mostly in casual, and one serious season of OCing (s33) to get here. It has been super fun and we hope to be back, making less mistakes, sooner rather than later. Troll away, but not many owners get to be here and I wanted to say thanks, even if we sucked.
