Warrior General Games

There was a bit of a shake up in the Power Rankings this week, thanks to a few upsets, and a larger data sample...

1. FFLW--Stays atop the poll for now, but brantford is right on their heels. The margin between one and two is a near statistical tie.

2. Brantford--Bought a hell of a team...

3. Newcastle--Despite being 9-0 Newcastle only has 1 "quality win." They have two wins (Canberra and Emerald City that would have been if they'd scored 1-2 more points).

4. Fiji--The Sea Turtles could really legitimize themselves with wins in their next two games.

5. FFLivewire--Like much of the top of Zeta, a weak schedule makes it difficult to ascertain the team's true strength.

6. West Scranton--Established themselves pretty well in new league.

7. Brisbane (G)--Only three tough games left on their schedule.

8. Emerald City--Game of the week this week is Fiji @ EC. Good chance for both teams to show where they really stand.

9. New England--Beat a better-than-their-record team in Aussie last week. Starting to find their rhythm.

10. The U Canes--3 losses by a combined 14 points, to teams with a combined 22-5 record. This team stands the best shot at playing the spoiler role come playoff time.


...and five to grow on....

11. Rawle
12. Tongan
13. Las Vegas
14. Canberra
15. Wagga Wagga/IC (ok, well six...)

If they won out, yes it is statistically possible.

If they lose once it is mathematically possible with a little help. At two losses it would be impossible.

Who gives a crap if Brantford bought a hell of a team (can we move on?). The point is, they are good and have built great players.

I dont think it is fair, people bashing your team ballbright. You are doing the best you can to keep your team here. Why bash Brantford? They did it their way, they are good and earneed their right to be here.

Lets just keep this league rolling with great rankings like this and try to make this the best league we can.......however teams are built.

Honestly, I just respect every team here. The fact they are here, earns them the respect. This is a great league.

Rankings like this is what makes it great and entertaining. There are a few of you that take the time to do these (you, Lukin, DSF and others). I appreaciate it.

Shit talking is awesome and keeps the league fun and competitive. Im fine with all that. Then endless rants about teams and how they are built gets old.

Im glad you took the high road. Keep up the fight with your team as well.

I think you may be singing a different tune when they are waxing people every year in a couple of seasons. There is no way other teams will be able to keep up eith their chemistry and quality of players because they will boost and resign these guys for years.

So I think its fair to bash em, they are going to make the league wack.

F Brantford.

I don't think that wil happen... that's why gameplans are about, you can never take a victory for granted just because you have a better team / better chemistry.

we have players with A LOT of different agents (including a host of agents who have a single player) and our chemistry is 100%...

I don't think it will be as disgraceful as you make it sound.

F Brantford.

I don't care what they do. If you are a team made up of a solid corps of players and you game plan well, teams like Brantford will be beatable. There are plenty of other teams out there where 1-5 people own every player on the roster and they are not all as successful as Brantford. The Mustangs know what they are doing and that alone is what makes them a dangerous team.

You guys have done good to this point, but will have challenges in the future with chemistry. Most likely.

Brantford never really will. I mean you can call it whatever you want and be fine with it, but it is a distinct advantage and is only going to get worse in my opinion.
