#8 Nidderau Stars at #1 Sic Semper Tyrannis
SST won the regular season meeting 61-0.
This one shouldn't be any different from the regular season meeting as the SST D will hold down the Stars O while the ground game does the work needed for an easy Tyrannis W.
#7 Blatz Beer Barbarians at #2 Deadwood Undertakers
Deadwood won the regular season meeting 26-7
Nice first round game and will be a nice test for Deadwood. The Undertakers will get all A's in round one and the Beer Barbarians can start drinking early.

Porto found themselves down after the first quarter but a strong Q2-4 (51-7) made it an easy one and like most 1 v. 8's I expect a similar route this go around.

Bulldogs won the regular season meeting 54-0.
They've played recently and it wasn't pretty after the third as the Hollbillie's were outscored 41-0 in the fourth. It was a tight one through three (13-0) but I don't expect a similar result.

Nice writeup MKAs far as promotions go, all I know is that we will all move up to Reg Pro, but I believe they are going to separate us by records and such into different leagues.

Should be some interesting games in the first round.
I am not fully sure how the promotions go. I think the top teams go to Elite and the rest go to Competitive but this is based on CasPro needs. In any case, it is going to be tough facing 79's while at low-mid 70's.

Even with my team getting pimped slapped around I'd figure I keep doing these as I contemplate rebooting. Should be some crazy #2-3 seed games.

#4 Shoreline Big Gulp Kickers at #1 Sic Semper Tyrannis
SST drilled Shoreline in their regular season game 78-3.
Both teams made short work of their opponents in round one and as much as I'd liked to be hyped about this game the 78-3 prior meeting match up is tough to overcome as SST just just seems to be playing on another level. Shoreline was only able to kick out 91 yards and hold the ball for a bit over 16 minutes. That won't get it done and while I don't think this will be as bad as the regular season no one has show the horses to stop or even slow the SST rushing attack.

#3 Young Perky Trainwrecks at #2 Deadwood Undertakers
Deadwood took the regular season game in a fairly close one 20-3.
In the regular season meeting Deadwood was able to force their will with the ground game racking up 257 yards while their D suffocated YPT's offensive attack limiting them to 148.5 yards on the day. This was far from a route as a play here or there and its a ball game but teams that can run the ball have won and I the Undertakers will be able to move the ball on the ground. This one goes deep in the fourth with the Undertakers advance to the title game against SST.

Following the West there were no round one surprises as seeds 1-4 made it onto round two.
#4 The Commission's Shock Collar Gladiators at Porto Alegre Smuggler Academy
PASA took down the SCG team pretty easy 49-6 but it was week two of the season.
Porto had their way with the Gladiators in their regular season meeting and while there has been a lot of season since that initial meeting Porto has continued winning 17 in a row and being the "beast of the east." The Gladiators run D was sound in their opening round win and will need to be even batter against Porto - it was RB The Natural who ran for 261 yards on only 14 carries and if he comes close to sniffing those yards this one will be over rather abruptly.

Syracuse won the regular season meeting 20-7.
This should be similar to the Wests 2-3 match ups - both will be some dogs fights (I may watch both myself). These two met up in week eight so its been a little while. Foy led in that one 7-3 at the break but gave up 17 unanswered in the fourth (10 being scored while Foy had to go for it on 4th giving up some late points). This game was much closer than the score indicated (10-7 in my book). Foy was able to run the ball was were dismal through the air (7/23). Cuse wasn't a marvel on O either getting less than 200 yards (195.5). I'd venture a guess if ran through the computer sim deal this one would be a tie. However, this is not hand grenades or hore shoes. This is one where a special teams play could be huge or a turnover.
