Wondering if i'm headed in the right direction. I have 237 bonus tokens and 3 boosts coming up to take him to 55. This is where the skill point placement always makes me stressed

Why so many BTs? Even with smaller ALGs probably still worth capping stamina with your first boost. Could probably justify a couple of SPs in tight spiral, although if you're playing the long game then you're right to keep holding off on SAs.
