After the break out argument between conferences on who is best runningback Barclay or D3, something has gone unnoticed that we must report on? Sure D3 has more yards, but 1/4 of those yards came against the worse team in Africa! He has been held repeatedly to less than 100 yards! Also, his offense is more focused on the run, because of the inability to pass the ball succesfully! In our opinion, Fetailis Smith is by far the best back in the Elephant Conf, and perhaps best overall in Africa! How so you ask? Well first off, no team has been able to stop him, and he has faced the best defenses in the Elephant Conf, also, he plays on what is perhaps the most balanced offense in Africa period! The team is leading the league in passing and rushing, and there #2 rb was 4 in the conference in rushing yards! The team, runs a balanced attack to get everyone leveled up as quickly as possible, and does a great job doing it!
The best thing is this argument will have it's oppurtunity to prove itself when Barclay and Smith face off in whats being called the Probowl of AFRICA #3 in week 16! A lot of excitement in that game, as it's truly a crowd pleaser! Best of luck to all 3 rb's through the remainder of the season!

I think we did a pretty good job containing him. 86 yards on 21 rushes and no TDs.

yeah..but thats his worse game..d3 has been held to less than that on more than one occasion! and is only beating smith by 100 yards, and thats after getting 330 vs. the flames.

the TRUTH of the matter is both your HB's have padded their stats against weak teams the good thing about this is because its willm this bullshit is easiest to prove... both these running backs have by the grace of god faced the same 4 top 10 defenses so far and while both of them have less then stellar numbers against actual defenses, LTD's HB leads willm's in EVERY category...

as far as the whole week 16 "pro bowl" instead of using that visa to spend $1,000 on trying to buy a championship you should use some of it to buy a clue... stick to talking bullshit about your own conference cause in the lion only actual real performances count, not a stacked self bought team vs a bunch of punching bags...

better yet why don't you go back to crying like a 10 year old girl that your roster and bank got jacked by the guy with the OTHER 20% of your roster so that some people can forget what a total asshat you are... me i say that is KARMA and couldn't have happened to a better stooge...

Hmm to me it seems that it has been someone's time of the month the last few days with all of these derogatory posts. Why don't you take a break from the forums rmead until you are in a better mood and don't have to be an ass to anyone who posts something about their player's stats. I'm glad that you have deemed yourself the forum police of all statistical matters. I for one don't care about breaking everything down so technically. No one here picked their schedule so who cares if their stats have been padded against so called "weak teams".

1st i agree you can say anything about your player you like, you for instance could say that your level 11 DE is the best in all of GLB and that is fine until you start bringing up stats and saying that your opinion is based on something other then your personal feelings, see then you arent saying something good about your own player you are saying something bad about the rest of the players in that position and you are claiming to be using facts to back up those statements.

2nd I will grant you this post was a bit derogatory, but I wont apologize for that because the OP is such a tool... but this post along the rest of my recent posts have been nothing but replies with factual data to contentions that players are better then they actually are... and you aren't unlike a lot of people in this game who don't care to break things down, but those same people often times will just take as truth when someone says something like " ..no team has been able to stop him, and he has faced the best defenses..." you think the defenses that were just called out as being run over care if its true? i bet they do....

3rd I realize no one here picked their schedule... i have stated many times that comparing players mid-season is a pointless endeavor... but the fact of the matter is people still do it and when one person says they have the best player at a position and posts statements meant to seem as tho they are facts to back up the claim, well you need to do 2 things... 1. make sure what you say is actually true or 2. don't bring my team or conference into the discussion because i will make sure what you say is true.

and finally...
they aren't "so-called" weak teams... they ARE weak teams... if a team hasn't even won a single game... or they have only won against the teams or teams that haven't won... what would you call that team, "strong"?

Ok Mead. I know you think it's pointless, but can you provide us mere mortals with a mid-season pro bowl roster for Lion? I'd just like to see the differences, and we can end the debates. Obviously we're not as good as you in sifting through the stats, even the league or conference leading stats. Thanks.
