Which is the appropriate order for a DT to cap abilities?
Strength, tackle, agility, vision?
Strength Agility Tackle Vision?

What archetype and what type of role are you going to play?
Run Stuffer or Pass Rusher?

The second one probably allways if they are the main attributes!

Might wanna take SPD up higher than both VIS and TKL, builds vary a bit in those aspects but the above cap order looks about right.

He's a Jack archetype. http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=4354009 Built strength first as a Run Stuffer. Speed is a primary whereas agility isn't. I want him to be able to control the line of scrimmage and stuff holes. Pass Rushing would be a secondary thought.

He's at Level 26 with 87 raw strength right now (10:1 cap). Ok to go to the next attribute or take it higher?

If you take it up 2 more, you'll finish out strength at 100 and some change raw just on ALGs. Looks like you have some boosts left so the 3 boosts will get you .84 SP.

I have a DT the same age, but I stopped at 88, so I'll finish out at 99.1 raw.

Instead of putting anymore SP in it, train it untill 94+ and that will take care of that. If its enchanced to 3 stars the training % will be decent to 94

i play a combo DT for the past 10 seasons or so.

i prefer str/agi/speed/tackling/vision/stamina/confidence

agility is only a blue star on a combo dt, and i used to put it in the 5 or the 6 slot, but i found that when my str/speed/ tackling is good, i dont get near the results as when i combine a better agility.

so i started just pushing thru the agility as my 2 skill. after i finish my primary. if your quad training the other skills they are gold stars plus alg gains, and u can get them up a lot easier than u can with your agility at a lower spot, and i find my dot to be much more effective.

A very generic rule of thumb for the entire D-line is if you can get you natural Strength, Agility and Speed to add up to 285 or more, you'll be doing just fine. The cap order just depends on what exactly you're trying to do with the dot.
