Sorry, my fault. I guess that I didn't realize that there was an existing thread for our league when I created this one.
My GG posts are just to acknowledge that the Fighting Tigers are still active and available to reply to comments about our completed games.

No worries, my friend.
I salute you for persistence.
Good Job.
By the way ......Are your Fighting Tigers from a particular university?
Like LSU!
I live in the New Orleans area!
Geaux Tigers!

Our logo is the early '70's LSU helmet but we are not affiliated with the university in any way, even though some players have the same or similar names (or avatars) as the classic Bayou Bengals (Brad Davis. Bert McJones, etc.).
I'm originally from Baton Rouge but live in Hammond now.
Geaux Saints 2013 !

I lived in New Orleans until Katrina.
Moved a few weeks before the storm to the North Shore.
I'm retired. Married 35 years. My wife and I live just off US 190 and I-12 between Covington and Mandeville.
We are neighbors as you live less than an hour away down I-12.
The Saints and LSU can only improve in 2013. Will they go to the playoff level next season. One can only hope.
I know how Notre Dame fans feel today after their humiliating defeat last night to Nick Saban's Crimson Tide.
My wife told me she saw him smile. Missed it.
Do you remember the days of the Chinese Bandits?
That would be politically incorrect.
They would change that to the Kim Jong-un's Oriental Mafia since no one likes the newest leader of North Korea
nor the Mafia now synonymous with evil thuggery beyond the story line of the Godfather Trilogy and Sicilians generally.
Cheers

Saints' Offense is in really good shape but their Defense needs a major overhaul. They may have to trade some of that offense to help balance things on defense but I'm confident that Sean Payton will get the job done.

I was born in '63 so they were before my time but I grew up hearing and reading about them. I was an LSU fan before I knew what football was. My older sister used to take me to the campus to see the homecoming decorations and I would listen to the games on the radio on Saturday night and watch the highlights on Cholly Mac's TV show on Sunday morning. That led into the pro games so that's how I became an NFL fan. I didn't see the Saints very often back then & didn't really become a big fan of theirs until they started showing all road games on TV in the late '70's.
