Ok.....I don't really do all that but I think he should get the point that he needs to put in some work himself and quit looking for all the shortcuts.

So with the various blitzing and blocking changes being in place for a season now, what is the communities thoughts on what goes into building a better O lineman now?

Vision more important? Minimum? Is 60 something okay? Or does it need 70 or 75?

Agility? Can a run blocker get by with 75 or 80 agility? Or is 90 a hard line minimum? Or 95? Is Agility the New Strength?

And Blocking? Wasn't its value in the equation boosted? Is 100 Blocking mandatory?

Are run blocking centers even worthwhile versus the new nimbler Nose Tackles?

Is First Step still mandatory for run blocking? Or is there something better now?

Whats the state of the O Line in your opinion?

The lowest vision O line I had was 75, he missed one or two checks per game. Everyone else was mid 80s, they missed two or three a season. Of course I'm only talking about the type of vision check that results in the "eye", can't say if they missed a blitz so went to the wrong guy. Just no way to know that stuff.

Agility is in pretty much every type of roll an O lineman can make, so it makes since to get it as high as you can without getting to low in the other attributes.

First thing to worry about with Centers, is to make them capable of winning the rolls with a NT, otherwise the guards are going to stick around to assist and miss a chance to get other rushers.

Huh. I was afraid of that. Have about half a dozen guards about to hit plateau with 65 vision. Was thinking getting it to 68 would do. Looks like I got some SP spending to do.

Agility I was banking on so thats good.

Thanks.

First step is an ok tool for OG's but I personally go Pummel.

Balance for OT's or Pummel.
Pummel for C.

I always like to possibly add AoI to the mix as well if I can.
