That's what blew my mind. They had actually started adjusting the leagues in the pyramid to put the competitive teams together and exiling the CPUs to their own leagues. Had the "stovepipe" set-up going in BBB to protect underleveled or garbage teams from being thrown into A too early. In typically GLB fashion they completely done away with the pyramid right about the time they just about had it right. Rather than do what was necessary to bring more users to have more teams and players they took the easy way out and just wiped the pyramid.



It's a shame, could of just gave us 16 games to set up against who ever was within some set parameters for challenges and let the pyramid adjust based on some point system depending on who you played and how they were ranked against you. Something that rewarded challenging higher.

The only level that has enough teams to support a regional tie-in is Regoinal Pro. Is that where everyone wants regional tie-in? If so, I don't think it is a horrible idea. Anywhere lower, it's just not feasible.

I prefer the current system with the elite and competitive leagues to give equal competition between the different teams.

The current system is plain vanilla and has caused quite a few people to bored quit.

Bored comes from having to wait a year to play the game. Be better IMHO to buy a dot, then use a virtual builder to take him to the level appropriate for Regional Pro where the teams can sort.

I don't understand the hardon people have for insta-dots. If insta-dots are introduced they might as well shut this site down. Plateau is boring as hell. I can't imagine 15 seasons of just watching replays without dumping SPs, building/shopping AE, training, ect...

Many of the people wanting insta-dots really should be careful what they wish for, tbh. They just might get it.

Unless you find building dots boring. Really, might as well sit down with a piece of paper and do it, that way it's free. You can get up every morning and add a fraction to hundreds of dots. Or you could write a quick script in any of the dozens of spread sheet programs to do it. I used to do that back in the day of Play By Mail games. Carried a piece of scrap paper in my pocket at work and when it got deathly boring I'd pull it out and build another NPC. Now if you are into matching your wits against someone else then dots have little meaning. What is important is having the ability to field a team and see if your strategy and AIs are better than the next guy.

insta build the player, but then start earning VAs/SAs from game play. as is, what is the point of building the same players over and over?

If you were insta building them with a virtual builder, it would be no different than building now except........you don't have to wait a year and...........when there are SIM changes, if you wanted to spend the Flex, you could change with the SIM.
