They keep neglecting the user base and then wondering why this game isn't growing. It has huge potential, if the admins fix up and actually listen to the community many of us including myself and yourself will start buying Flex again

Its cool. PPE demote after going 8-8 in a very competative league and get to beat up on teams hardcore all next season when we fill our roster with an even better team.

Because it's something that many (if not most) that aren't Pro/WL diehards want. And no, most minor teams are not farm teams. That's an old myth.

If they aren't farms, then they are likely rebuilds in progress for non associated teams or newer teams that will fold once they reach a level where their builds are killing them.

If that were even true, what would it matter? Why do you think WL should get 100% of the attention and the other 99% of the userbase be ignored?

I mean, it's not like we're asking for a completely different sim. It's simply changing the name of the fucking leagues. Why do people have to make shit so hard when it doesn't even impact them? You don't give a shit about anything but Pro/WL, I get that. So why are you even giving your opinion on the matter if you don't care?

One thing I worry about is the mass demotion from Pro leading to more guts.

Do you think any team that has WL potential or even Pro champion written on them is gutting? If the answer is no, then they aren't gutting because of any promotion/demotion mechanism.

The only level that has enough teams to support a regional tie-in is Regoinal Pro. Is that where everyone wants regional tie-in? If so, I don't think it is a horrible idea. Anywhere lower, it's just not feasible.

Not our fault the userbase has dwindled down to shit. Stop punishing us for it. If you have to fill in with CPUs to make enough leagues then do it since it's obvious the PTB aren't going to condense this game down to where it needs to be (getting rid of casual and peewee).

Because depending upon how you look at it, there are either 4 or 8 Regions, and Regoinal Pro is the only level with at least 8 leagues, with only University and below having at least 4.

You say this as if I am someone with the power to do anything. All I am doing is looking at your suggestion, then looking at how it would be implemented and point out the flaws....

With that said, I am one of the people that would much rather play the competition level of an Elite league than be put into a regional league that might have 3 or 4 teams that would give my team a competitive game, and 3 or 4 teams that would keep it within 50 and the rest would be 100+ point games. Thus, if the choice is competition or regionality, give me competition. If they can do both, then I would be supportive of adding regions. Again, the only place this seems doable is Regional Pro.

That would be the perfect system. Start at the bottom, move up by winning. You would always be at a level with teams in your competitive competence.

That's what blew my mind. They had actually started adjusting the leagues in the pyramid to put the competitive teams together and exiling the CPUs to their own leagues. Had the "stovepipe" set-up going in BBB to protect underleveled or garbage teams from being thrown into A too early. In typically GLB fashion they completely done away with the pyramid right about the time they just about had it right. Rather than do what was necessary to bring more users to have more teams and players they took the easy way out and just wiped the pyramid.
