You shouldnt have stopped putting points in Throwing, keep on going as you are a bit after... My lvl 9 QB has 73 (without EQ) in throwing. You will have a hard time to catch those points and the QB position is a harsh competition, there are so many of them

Well I own a team, hes done well so far, 12 games, 2800 yards 27 TD 0 picks, 62% completion but see I read somewhere that I need to almost keep vision up too along w throwing. It almost seems like there isn't a set way to build someone, I was told get to 81 on throwing then do vision. Honestly I don't know what I'm doing, I know he's playing well and our team is doing well so I guess thats good

You're guy Is nasty with throwing, thanks for the advice. I'm hoping I can salvage him enough to be competitive until we move up. So when do I need to stop putting into throwing, like I guess the soft cap I's when you have to start spending 3 SP for 1 point on throwing? Been a. Little confused about some of this stuff, relatively new to this so any advice I appreciate

Yes your build and team will do fine now the first seasons and that might be a good time to test out stuff... But after a couple off seasons you will be behind because your builds where built too balanced You should take it much higher than when 1 attribute point costs just 3SP, im taking Throwing to atleast 85. But these advices are for those that build their dots to 79, if you are just playing a couple off seasons and retiring to start a new team you are doing it right to balance builds early

Heres the softcaps:

Max Attr. Value

1 00.00 48.06

2 48.07 60.51

3 60.52 67.97

4 67.98 73.24

5 73.25 77.28

6 77.29 80.53

7 80.54 83.25

8 83.26 85.58

9 85.59 87.60

10 87.61 89.40

11 89.41 91.01

12 91.02 92.46

13 92.47 93.79

14 93.80 95.00

15 95.01 96.13

16 96.14 97.18

17 97.19 98.15

18 98.16 99.06

19 99.07 99.92

20 99.93 100.73

21 100.74 101.50

22 101.51 102.23

23 102.24 102.92

24 102.93 103.58

25 103.59 104.21

26 104.22 104.81

27 104.82 105.39

28 105.40 105.94

29 105.95 106.47

30 106.48 106.98

Thank you! See I wish this stuff was a lot easier to find here, to help ppl build. So out of curiosity, why do balanced builds not succeed later on?

Because of the alg:s (automatic level gains). They give you attribute points everytime you level, so throwing for you gives now 0.67 points every time you lvl and because at higher lvl:s when 1 attribute point costs more SP then they are very effective. Thats why you want to get your main attribute as high as possible so that the alg:s will work for you!

Here´s how much all the algs give you

L1-21 L22-29 L30-37 L38+

3 Majors |+0.67 |+0.50 |+0.38 |+0.28

4 Majors |+0.50 |+0.38 |+0.28 |+0.21

5 Majors |+0.40 |+0.30 |+0.23 |+0.17

3 Minors |+0.33 |+0.25 |+0.19 |+0.14

4 Minors |+0.25 |+0.19 |+0.14 |+0.11

Major attributes are the yellow starred and minors blue starred

You can have a good balanced build in the end and to be competitive. But if you go balanced from the beginning you would be after those that work on one main attribute at a time
