What are the pros and cons.
I know I've read the descriptions but I want an effective yet dependable FS.
I don't think that I would like the Zone Specialist nor Heavy Hitter.

Anyone with experiences and or gripes about Man Sp vs Combo?

I'm not sure this will be of any help to you, but....

I only ever build zone FSs. As an ex-DC and now full time OC, I think that its rare that a FS is involved in bringing down HBs/FBs unless the gameplan is THAT. So I just make ballhawking FSs, and have not had an issue with loads of missed tackles or such like.
You can always add various add-ons such as 'diving tackle' if your dot does struggle, but right now the sim has been kind to my builds
