my DE will plateau at the beginning of the season, trying to figure out the end build -

just not sure if I would be better with Change Direction 7(8 with EQ), Relentless Pursuit 6, or Big Sack 5(6)

all numbers below do include EQ

Position: de_pass_rusher

strength : 94
speed : 125.1
agility : 121.1
jumping : 11
stamina : 62
vision : 79.1
confidence : 41
tackling : 62.1

Top SA Tree: | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Bottom SA Tree: | 10 | 3 | 10 | 10 | 0 |
Relentless Pursuit: | 0 |

I am guessing you are referring to this dot?

His sack count makes a good case for Big Sack. I really question RP, as based on how long do QB’s actually hang onto the ball.

I would personally wait to see what sim changes occur, as something just might make the case of either SA option. So other options would be taking tackling up higher, look at Diving Tackle (though neglecting Jumping and tackling kind of hinders this route), or something else. Not sure how much benefit you would see with more CD coupled with your agility. Does it really seem like the dot looses a lot of steam when cutting?

you have stalked the correct dot

thanks for the input - good to hear from an outside party - does seem like either Big Sack or more Tackling is the way to go, and Diving Tackle is a definite possibility

I would put Diving Tackle low on the priority list unless the replays state otherwise. The reasoning is this, your tackling radius is pretty low due to low tackling attribute. The Diving Tackle SA really comes in to help prevent missed diving tackles. With such a low amount in jumping as well, you probably are not attempting enough diving tackles to attempt to invest the 38 points to cap Tackling and whatever to increase the SA. This is not counting the increase necessary to increase tackling to a reasonable level.

Of course with sacks, we do not have the privilege of knowing what is a missed sack tackle, missed diving sack, made diving sack, and other identifiers. Who knows, looking primarily at tackling may up your hurries by a couple...

If I just counteracted myself, oh well.
