Lion
TAP (6-0) - Big game for the top spot next week when they face Axis. After that they may just coast the rest of the season.

Axis (6-0) - Purgatory is having to sit through the games this season. Ugh. Finally a god matchup next week when Axis faces TAP.

Windhoek (5-1) - Dismantled the Yaks and took a 34-3 lead into halftime. Snooze.

Sahara (6-0) - If Sahara takes the Joes down next week they'll get to 9-0 before facing TAP and have a strong shot at a top 4 finish.

Uganda (5-1) - Uganda takes another narrow win playing a team I would have expected a larger margin of victory against. I may start questioning if I have this squad just a little too high if this keeps up.

Cult (5-1) - In their first game against a top team the Cult fell flat. Offensively, they generated a whole 3 points and had a miserable day passing the ball. Defensively, they got shredded and gave up almost 500 yards through the air. They'll bounce back next week though before facing the Rhinos.

RnR (4-2) - Big win over the Joes and now they can cruise through the next 2 games before facing TAP.

Average Joe's (3-3) - Came out swinging and took an early 14 point lead before being shut out the rest of the game and giving up 35. Big loss for the Joes and with Sahara and Uganda up next you have to wonder if they'll start slipping a bit.

CWE (3-3) - Heading into a tough 4 game stretch against WWR, Yaks, Cult and Axis. Need to split those games if they want to maintain their outside shot of making the playoffs.

Austin (2-4) - Valiant effort against the Silverbacks but in the end they fell short. Hitting a very soft portion of their schedule so they can start making a push for that 8th seed if they can take the next 5. They must beat the Yaks and Joes for a shot though.

Yaksmen (1-5) - Schedule eases up for a few games but is this team already done for the season.

Boston (1-5)
Texas (1-5)
-Cult- (1-5)
Free-Lancer Army (0-6)
Pottsville (0-6)

Elephant
BSS (6-0) - Great defensive showing against Philly as they kept them out of the endzone for 52 minutes. Add in a +2 turnover ratio and a solid passing effort out of One-Eyed Willie and that's a recipe for success.

Philly (5-1) - Philly drops their first game after failing to generate more than 6 points through 3 quarters. Tough loss but this squad is still in line for a top 4, if not 2, finish.

Spring Hill (5-1) - Hell of a game against Asmara that could have gone either way all the way to the end. Statistically, these teams finished pretty evenly. The Pirates actually come out of it looking worse on paper if you just look at the averages per run and pass. Asmara averaged over 2 yards more per carry but the Pirates ground out the win by sticking to a heavy run game plan and controlling the clock for 36 minutes.

Republic (5-1) - Benin hasn't faced a good team since week 1 so all eyes will be on next weeks game against BSS. Is this team for real or just riding the wave of bad teams to wins.

Rwanda (4-2) - Big games the next 2 weeks as they face Asmara and the Pirates. It's a big opportunity for the Knights to push for a top 4 finish but this has not looked like the Knights of past to me so far this season.

ICB (5-1) - S30 is looking to go down in APL history as the most lopsided, boring season of all. We're almost midway through the season and I honestly can't tell which 4-5 win teams are actually good.

Asmara (3-3) - Asmara can't catch a break and hasn't beaten a quality team yet this season. They had a good shot at breaking that pattern against the Pirates. After falling behind 17-7 with just under 9 minutes remaining HB CM ripped off an 82 yd TD run to make it a 3 point game. That was the last either team saw of the endzone though and the Fighters dropped another one. They have RRK, Philly, Benin and ICB up next so if they plan on moving up it has to happen now.

AquaBats (6-0) - The schedule has been soft. They just narrowly evaded a loss to the Voodoo. And now I'm about to call their next game, against a winless team, a must win game. I don't recall ever doubting an undefeated team so much but here we are. If the Bats win next week they should pretty much lock up the 8 seed but I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped 7 of their last 9 games.

Steiner (4-2) - Pretty apparent now that the final playoff spot will come down to the Bats, Steiner and an outside shot for the Sons. Steiner's already lost to the Bats so they need to root for the Sons next week.

SoA (0-6) - If the Sons can somehow beat the Bats and Bulldawgz they will still miraculously have a shot at the 8 seed.

Voodoo (1-5) - Loss to the Bats should realistically eliminate them from the playoffs.

Vol Nation (1-5)
Kirkland (2-4)
OffTopica (0-6)
Kenosha (0-6)
The South Rangers (0-6)

Yea our playoff chances are looking slim. though we could pull off 8 of our next 10 imo and maybe sneak in at 8th seed. But its a long shot

Idk. I mean the best teams in Lion are definitely better than the top teams in elephant. But elephant has more competitive teams in it than lion does. Aside fro 4-5 teams, lion is soft as shit.

already lost 5? so you talking out of your ASS AGAIN?

Great job "E". Hopefully the Axis/Pred game doesn't disappoint. They got us good last season and look stronger so far this season. I'm just hoping for a favorable sim against a really good team.

If it weren't for bad luck we wouldn't have any luck at all.

Whoa cowboy! Eighth seed will come down to the Freedom Fighters and Voodoo game week 15. Voodoo will be 8-6 heading into that game. Don't count us out yet. Chemistry is improving and a soft schedule doesn't hurt either.
