Enjoy and good luck to all this season. Lot of CPUs laying around this season. Good job GLB gods.

Lion
TAP (1-0) - TAP is always in the running for a top seed and this season should be no different. Close one in week 1 against Benin but they held off the 4th Q comeback attempt to get the win. With South Bend gone can TAP make it to the LC game this season?

Axis (1-0) - Impressive win over ICB and Axis looks to be picking up where they left off last season. They took a commanding 28 point lead in the first half for an easy win. After 2 seasons of falling in the first round can they get over that hump this season?

Windhoek (1-0) - I just get all warm and fuzzy to see all the old APL squads making their way back home. Big win for the Rhinos over a solid team in Asmara.

RnR (1-0) - Solid team last season but they got manhandled in the first round. Nice week 1 win over the Knights as they shut out Rwanda in the second half to take the lead and win.

Sahara (1-0) - Sahara made it look easy against Kenosha but let's not forget the Creepers are coming off a 2 win season. We'll see how the Whales do the next 3 weeks against stiffer opponents.

Uganda (1-0) - The Silverbacks are back in Africa and got off to a solid start by dismantling the Sons. Not a lot to judge by considering they had the level advantage and next week will be another blowout. We'll see how Uganda fares weeks 3 & 4 against RnR and Sahara.

Cult (1-0) - The Cult missed out on the playoffs after an up and down season but they showed a lot of potential. We won't know how good they are until they face a quality team though and week 1 did not meet that criteria.

Average Joe's (1-0) - The Joes were a little up and down last season like Cult was and missed out on the playoffs too. They had a big win over Vol in week 1 but what does that show us. Vol had 6 wins last season so they weren't exactly top of their conference. I see the Joes fighting for a low seed again so the next couple of weeks could turn into pivotal tiebreakers down the road.

CWE (0-1) - A 5 game slide to end last season cost CWE a playoff spot and their week 1 performance doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. Next game could be pivotal before they have 2 bye weeks and have to face TAP.

Yaksmen (0-1) - Moved over from Ele and I'm not sure how wise of a move that was after getting to 9-7 there last season. Definitely did not pay off in week 1 as they got manhandled for 3 quarters by BSS and failed to get on the scoreboard until the 4th Q.

Austin (1-0) - Solid week 1 win for Austin as they held off the Word. Not sure how much that means considering OffTopica's struggles to field even a .500 team.

Boston (0-1) - After a surprising run at a playoff spot last season the Dogs have lost some of their bite. The roster is in bad shape so I don't expect much.

Pottsville (0-1) - CPU from top to bottom.

Texas (0-1) - Time for everyone to circle that all important Pottsville/Texas game to end the season.

Free-Lancer Army (0-1) - Another CPU team. Going to be a fight to the finish to see which lucky CPU team stays!

-Cult- (0-1) - ...CPU. Hooray for stats in Lion this season!

Elephant
Philly (1-0) - Early front runners now that SCM and LOL are both gone.

Rwanda (0-1) - Rwanda seems to always be in the thick of it and last season they fell in the second round to the eventual Conf champs. After taking an early lead over RnR they just couldn't get anything done in the second half. Good news is that the schedule isn't terrible to start so they should bounce back very easily.

Spring Hill (1-0) - The Pirates made the move from Lion to Ele and the schedule is looking to pay off for them early. They don't look to face a tough squad until week 6 and Ele looks pretty bottom heavy this season.

Republic (0-1) - With a shift in scenery from USA to Africa, Benin had a semi-impressive debut against TAP. They kept things close in the first half but fell behind in the 3rd Q before trying to mount a comeback. Looking like they can make a good run at a playoff spot though.

ICB (0-1) - Breakers haven't won in week 1 since S27 and that streak continued this season with a big loss to Axis. Next up they face a Steiner squad coming off a bye week. After that things lighten up even further so this squad should turn things around quickly.

Asmara (0-1) - Tough week 1 loss as Asmara went into halftime down by 14 and never managed to gain back the ground they loss. Next week is a bye though so they'll bounce back.

BSS (1-0) - Pretty thorough job taking apart the Yaks but the real tests start week 3 and stretch through week 8 as they play most, if not all, of the top Ele teams in that stretch.

SoA (0-1) - Rough start to the season as they got manhandled. Team needs to get those L72 upgrades in place so they can compete better because right now they're looking like underdogs to make it back to the playoffs.

Voodoo (1-0) - Made the playoffs last season but they have a tough stretch of games the next 4 weeks that could see them at 1-4 by week 6.

Vol Nation (0-1) - Not a great start to the season and with Benin and ICB up next the Vols could be staring at an 0-3 hole early in the season.

AquaBats (1-0) - Bye week win to kick off the season.

OffTopica (0-1) - Always hard to gauge what this team is capable of but they have yet to sniff the playoffs since getting to APL. The next 3 weeks will probably be brutal for them.

Kirkland (1-0) - Bye week win.

Steiner (1-0) - Not much to go by after week 1 saw them facing a neutered Boston squad. Next week should show us what these Dawgz really have.

Kenosha (0-1) - Looking like another rough season for the Creepers. Definite underdogs through at least the next 6 weeks.

The South Rangers (0-1) - Hard to compete when you don't have a full roster and are coming off a 3 win season.

This is why I brought Sunami back into the African continent. With this being the last season of normal Pro ball as we know it, I'm glad to be home.

This.

I'm pissed that the regions are changing...
I honestly think this the poor fucking promotion/demotion system that needs changed. Look at all the CPUs in pro. We see them before roll over and they are still here the next day. Then we all have to go find teams to swap leagues and request to take CPU teams spots. All of this should be done with out the users having to make it happen.
