1) Asau Golden Eagles- Defending champs and the sim changes dont look to be hurting them much. I expect them to remain the favorites to start the season. I would be shocked if they didnt make the playoffs as well.
2) South Bend Immortals- Maybe I'm reaching here, But I think they are a good team and will care just enough care. I think the changes helped them instead of hurting them which is why I have them so high. They are one of the few new teams I respect and see making the playoffs. As long as cares remain, I would be shocked if they dont make the playoffs.
3) Nairobi Warthogs- Not that I dont think Nairobi is a good team, I just dont think they are as good as they were last season. I just think last season was they golden season. I think they will make the playoffs but maybe not as a home playoff team. But who's to say. I them them somewhere between 3-5 loosely but coming off of the WL silver ill give them the 3rd spot.
4) Venom Dotball Academy - I think VDA is tired of the 9-7 nail biter seasons. I think they will be looking at more care this season and looking at more an impressive showing this season to reassert themselves as a World League power. Considering their 9-7/10-6 history, I wont be shocked if they miss the playoffs, but i wouldnt bet on it.
5) C-Town MF'n Hood- They are probably better than this ranking but their "0 cares" attitude will drop them for now. I think they will do just enough to make the playoffs and maybe win a game or 2 but then they loose to a team that cared all season. I think its a little harder to flip the switch, but what do I know. They are another playoff lock i think, unless JT quits the game, then they are screwed.
6) One Foot Out the Door- I dont get this team. Talk about flipping a switch. I mean they were very average until they flipped the switch about 3/4 of the way through the season and made a nice playoff run. Somewhat of a shocker to me atleast. Not that Creek wasnt capable of it, I just didnt see the team doing it I guess. So I have them at 6 now because im not sure when they will flip the switch or if they are done caring?
7) Richey Royals- I dont think they will care all season like they did last season. I could see them just doing enough to make the playoffs and then making a decent playoff run. Never know with this team. I do think they make the playoffs though. They just need to beat the teams they are suppose to beat. 9 wins and you are in.
8) Smooth Criminals- Crazy Eff level and proven WL Coords. I dont see why people dont like this team. But Ballick doesnt lots of teams, for no reason so who cares. I have them at 8 just because. Its been a while since He has been in the WL and it might take him a little while to get adjusted again. I think they are the other newly promoted team that can make the playoffs. But its all about the gameplanning.
9) Moose Jaw Roughriders- This might be one those times when they say a "broken clock is right twice a day". Ballic has been saying Moose has been bad for seasons now. Maybe he is right now. This team just isnt that good. Bad leadership, Bad ownership, Bad dots, Etc... I mean they have only been able to stay in the WL the past few season because of luck, and I think their luck has run out. They have no chance of making the playoffs.
10) Red Hot Chile Peppers - I just think this conference is tougher than last season and I'm not sure if these guys can stick. I was impressed at how they were able to make the playoffs last season, But 2 in a row is tough. But they have a chance.
11) Padre's Parrish - SEA Pro hasnt been the best the past few seasons, at all. But these guys have an impressive eff level but I dont know if they know how to use it. They are a globedotter team but what does that mean with Bug not there anymore?
12) South Otto Fragile Porcelain Mice - They have been here before but I dont see them being as good as they were this time as they were last time. Even USA Pro has been pretty bad the past few season so its hard to tell if this team is good or not. This conference is pretty tough, they are going to have to steal some games early i think to stick.
13) Mean Machine- another DS team I think. seriously they have to be the reason why GLB is condensing the Pro regions.
14) Operation Dot Ball- They must be playing hide and seek. They are hiding the rest of their EFF level and we have to find it
15 & 16- STEEL City Mafia/Newport Newz Pitbullz... If i have nothing nice to say, I shouldnt say anything at all. But they suck and wont make the playoffs, thats as nice as i can be.
